The Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 5 has the stronger listed performance tier, a much larger battery and faster charging; the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion counters with a slightly larger display and, on its US specification page, microSD expansion. There is no verified same-market, same-date price pair for the two phones, so a fair price comparison depends on your country, exact configuration, seller and warranty.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion vs Redmi Turbo 5: specifications
The figures below come from the manufacturers’ regional specification pages. They are not a guarantee that every version sold in every country has the same hardware. In particular, Motorola’s US and India listings differ on battery capacity and durability rating.

Motorola lists the larger panel at 6.67 inches, compared with 6.59 inches for the Redmi Turbo 5. Both regional listings specify 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Motorola’s US page describes a quad-curved pOLED display, while Xiaomi’s India page specifies an AMOLED panel. The difference is not simply about size: curved edges and a flat-screen design feel different in hand and can affect how someone prefers to hold or use a phone. Check the exact local SKU before treating those design details as universal.

Which phone should be faster?
The listed processors are the Dimensity 7400 in Motorola’s US specifications and the Dimensity 8500 Ultra in Xiaomi India’s specifications. Those model names alone do not establish a real-world speed difference, and the available material does not provide comparable independent benchmark testing. If performance is decisive, look for tests of the exact regional models and consider the apps and games you actually use rather than inferring a measured advantage from chipset labels.
Battery life and charging: Redmi’s clearest advantage on paper
Xiaomi India lists a 7,540mAh battery and 100W charging for the Redmi Turbo 5. Motorola’s US page lists 5,200mAh and 68W charging capability; its India page lists a 5,500mAh battery with the same 68W capability. On listed capacity and charging wattage, the Redmi has the larger numbers. They do not by themselves prove a particular screen-on time or charging duration, which also depend on usage, software, charger and test conditions.

Motorola says the device’s 68W charging capability requires Motorola TurboPower. Confirm whether a compatible charger is included with the specific regional package before relying on that rate or buying an accessory. Xiaomi India says the Redmi Turbo 5 package includes a protective case and a pre-applied screen protector.

Storage and memory
The US Motorola page lists 256GB of storage and microSD expansion up to 1TB, useful if keeping files on removable storage matters. Xiaomi India specifies UFS 4.1 storage and configurations up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, with 256GB capacity shown in the product-page content. These specifications come from different regional pages; confirm the storage and RAM tier offered in your market before comparing prices.

Water resistance and updates
Motorola’s US page lists IP68, while its India page lists IP68/IP69. The India page also states three Android OS upgrades and four years of security maintenance releases. The cited Xiaomi India specifications page does not state a comparable software-support period or IP rating, so those points cannot be used here to declare either phone the winner. Verify the relevant local product documentation and warranty terms before purchase.
Price difference: compare local listings, not currencies
Xiaomi’s store listing showed the Redmi Turbo 5 starting at RMB 2,299. That is a China-market listing snapshot, not a universal current price or a direct comparison with a Motorola price in another country. The cited material does not establish a same-date, same-market official price pair for both phones. Secondary comparison pages also contain market-specific snapshots that may not match in configuration or availability.

To calculate a meaningful difference, compare listings from the same country and date, for the same RAM and storage tier, with taxes, seller status and warranty considered. Check stock and whether the seller is authorized. A lower headline price may not represent the same configuration or after-sales coverage.

Which one makes more sense?
- Choose the Redmi Turbo 5 if the India-listed configuration is available to you and battery capacity and charging wattage are priorities. Its listed 7,540mAh battery and 100W charging exceed Motorola’s published figures for the US and India variants.
- Consider the Edge 60 Fusion if you value its slightly larger, curved 1.5K 120Hz display or microSD expansion on the US specification. The India model’s stated update commitment and IP rating may also matter, but confirm these details for the version sold locally.
- Wait to decide on price until you have comparable local listings for the exact configurations, seller and warranty. The China-market RMB listing cannot settle which phone is the better value in another country.
Before ordering either model, verify network-band compatibility, regional warranty, service availability, charger contents and the exact hardware SKU with the manufacturer or retailer. Those details can change the practical value of a phone even when the headline specifications look similar.
