In India, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is the better fit if you want a sharper screen, an ultrawide rear camera, faster listed charging, or higher manufacturer-listed ingress ratings. The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G gives you a slightly larger screen and a 300mAh higher stated battery capacity. A comparison listing checked in 2026 showed the Motorola at ₹20,900 and the Redmi at ₹24,999, but that ₹4,099 gap is only a volatile price snapshot—not a guaranteed or configuration-matched saving.
India models and configurations
This comparison covers the India-market phones. Regional specifications matter: Motorola’s India support page lists the Edge 60 Fusion with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 and a 5,500mAh battery. Motorola’s product PDF lists Dimensity 7300 and 5,200mAh for EMEA/LATAM versions, so global listings may describe different hardware. See Motorola’s India specifications and its product specification PDF.
Xiaomi India lists the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB configurations. Motorola’s India support page lists 8GB or 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage, plus microSD expansion. Retail listings can differ, so match memory and storage before comparing prices. Both manufacturers list microSD expansion up to 1TB; Xiaomi specifies a hybrid SIM/microSD arrangement, which can use the second SIM position.

Screen: Redmi is larger; Motorola is sharper
The Redmi’s display measures 6.77 inches diagonally, 0.10 inch more than the Motorola’s 6.67-inch panel. Motorola counters with 2712 × 1220 pixels, compared with Redmi’s 2392 × 1080, while both are listed at a 120Hz refresh rate. That makes the Motorola the higher-resolution choice on paper; it does not establish which screen looks better in every use.
The manufacturers’ brightness figures are not directly comparable measurements. Xiaomi lists a 3,200-nit peak brightness. Motorola lists 4,500 nits HDR peak and a 1,400-nit high-brightness mode. Those figures refer to different conditions, so they should not be treated as a standardized brightness test or a straightforward ranking.
Cameras: compare the modules, not image quality
Both phones list a 50MP main camera, but their secondary rear cameras serve different purposes. Motorola adds a 13MP ultrawide/macro camera and specifies optical image stabilization (OIS) for the main camera in its product PDF. Redmi adds a 2MP depth camera. Motorola also lists a 32MP front camera, compared with Redmi’s 20MP.
Rank #2
These specifications show the available camera hardware, not which phone takes better photos or video. No comparable camera test is established here.
Battery and charging: capacity is not endurance
Xiaomi lists a typical 5,800mAh battery for the Redmi, 300mAh more than Motorola India’s 5,500mAh battery. Motorola lists 68W charging; Xiaomi lists 45W and says the charger is included in the box.
Capacity alone does not predict how long a phone lasts, and wattage alone does not establish a full-charge time. No comparable battery-life or charging-time test is available in the cited specifications.

Durability: understand the stated ratings
Motorola lists IP68/IP69, Gorilla Glass 7i, and MIL-STD-810H certification for the Edge 60 Fusion. Xiaomi lists IP65+IP66 for the Redmi and cautions: “The device is certified to be splash and dust resistant exclusively under specific laboratory conditions not corresponding to normal use conditions.” Xiaomi also says liquid damage outside the test conditions is not covered by warranty.
Treat these as manufacturer claims rather than guarantees against damage. Water and dust resistance can depend on conditions, and the Xiaomi warning makes clear that its certification does not mean the phone is protected in every real-world situation.
