The moto g96 5G is the better fit if you want a curved pOLED screen, lighter build and higher listed water-resistance rating. The moto g57 power is the stronger choice for battery capacity, a 3.5mm headphone jack or Android 16 as listed by Motorola. Price evidence is mixed, so compare current offers for the same storage variant before deciding.

Which display is better for your priorities?

The G96 has the more premium display specification: its curved pOLED panel supports up to 144Hz, compared with the G57 Power’s 120Hz LCD. The G57 Power’s screen is fractionally larger at 6.72 inches, versus 6.67 inches on the G96. Motorola lists high-brightness modes of 1,050 nits for the G57 Power and 1,200 nits for the G96.

Choose the G96 if pOLED technology and the higher listed refresh rate matter more to you. Choose the G57 Power if you prefer the slightly larger screen. The figures describe specifications, not comparative viewing tests.

Battery capacity, charging and weight

The larger capacity gives the G57 Power an advantage on paper, but it does not establish how long either phone will last for your particular mix of apps, signal conditions and screen use.

91mobiles reported PCMark battery-test results of 15 hours 18 minutes for the G57 Power and 10 hours 53 minutes for the G96. The detailed test conditions were not available, so treat these as that publisher’s test results, not a prediction of everyday runtime.

Protection, performance and software

The G96 is rated IP68; the G57 Power has an IP64 water-resistant design. These ratings distinguish the listed protection levels, but neither makes a phone damage-proof. Handle both according to Motorola’s care guidance rather than treating a rating as a guarantee against damage.

Those details identify the chips and software versions listed for these India models; they do not establish a general speed ranking, future Android upgrades or security-support duration.

Cameras, storage and wired audio

The G57 Power’s Motorola-listed rear setup pairs a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 119.5° field of view. 91mobiles lists a 50MP main camera and 8MP ultra-wide camera for the G96. The comparison information does not establish image quality, so megapixel counts alone should not determine a camera purchase.

Both phones have stereo speakers and USB-C 2.0. The G57 Power also has a 3.5mm headset jack, which is useful if you want to connect wired headphones without an adapter. The G96 does not list that jack.

India price difference: check the same configuration

The available price snapshots do not establish a dependable current price gap. 91mobiles’ comparison page showed ₹20,999 for each phone, with the G96 marked out of stock and the G57 Power shown through Amazon. Motorola India’s storefront search result showed ₹21,999 for the G57 Power with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The storefront figure was captured on October 7, 2026; the 91mobiles comparison snapshot was crawled approximately three weeks before October 7, 2026. Prices and stock can change.

Before deciding on price, compare the same storage configuration and check the seller, offer conditions and stock at the time you buy. The G96’s 256GB option may not be directly comparable with the G57 Power’s listed 128GB configuration.
