Choose the Infinix GT 30 5G+ if gaming features and a sharper, larger display matter most; choose the Moto G96 5G if you value its IP68 rating or higher listed selfie-camera resolution. Both list a 5,500mAh battery and a display refresh rate of up to 144Hz. These distinctions come from published specifications, not comparative hands-on testing.

Specifications can differ by market, and Infinix’s global and India pages identify the GT 30 model as X6876. Check the exact regional model and supported network bands before buying. Motorola also notes that specifications may vary by market. Motorola’s Moto G96 5G specifications and Infinix’s GT 30 specifications are useful starting points.

Which is better for gaming?

The Infinix GT 30 is the more gaming-oriented phone on paper. Its published specifications combine the Dimensity 7400 with physical GT triggers, which offer a shoulder-control option for games that support or can map such inputs. The Moto G96 lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, but no physical gaming triggers in the cited specifications.

Processor names alone do not establish which phone delivers higher frame rates, stays cooler, or sustains performance longer. Those outcomes depend on the game, software, settings, and testing conditions; the specifications cited here do not provide model-specific comparative gaming tests. If performance is your deciding factor, look for independent testing of the exact regional models and games you play.

Which phone has the better display?

The GT 30 has the larger, higher-resolution panel by its listed dimensions: 6.78 inches at 1224 × 2720, compared with the Moto G96’s 6.67-inch 2400 × 1080 display. Both list a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. Infinix calls its panel AMOLED, while Motorola specifies pOLED.

The higher pixel count gives the GT 30 the specification advantage for display sharpness, but a refresh-rate ceiling does not guarantee identical motion handling. Brightness, color accuracy, outdoor legibility, and actual refresh behavior are not established by these specifications alone.

How do their cameras compare?

For the rear cameras, a third-party comparison reports a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide setup for the Moto. Infinix’s official GT 30 specification lists a 64MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide. The Moto rear-camera configuration should be checked against the specific regional SKU. Megapixel counts alone do not show which phone takes better photos or video.

Battery capacity and charging speed

Both manufacturers list a typical battery capacity of 5,500mAh. Motorola specifies 33W TurboPower charging; Infinix specifies up to 45W wired charging and up to 10W reverse charging. The higher listed wired wattage gives the GT 30 the paper advantage for charging power, but the figures do not establish actual charging time or battery endurance.

What do IP68 and IP64 mean here?

The Moto G96 lists IP68, while the GT 30 lists IP64. These are different ingress-protection classifications, not guarantees that a phone cannot be damaged. Treat the ratings as a durability distinction and check the manufacturer’s conditions and warranty terms rather than assuming either rating covers every exposure or incident.
