On these published specifications, the g86 is the clearer choice if display resolution and AMOLED technology are priorities. The figures do not establish how the screens compare in brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility.

How do the processors, RAM and storage compare?
Motorola’s EMEA g86 listing specifies a Dimensity 7300, 8GB of physical RAM plus RAM Boost, and 512GB of internal storage. The Spanish g37 listing specifies a Dimensity 6300, 4GB RAM with RAM expansion, and 256GB storage. RAM expansion is not the same as additional physical RAM.
Do not assume those g37 specifications apply everywhere: Motorola’s Australian test-support listing instead names a Dimensity 6400, 4GB or 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage. The available listings do not establish a universal g37 configuration or a controlled performance comparison. Match the model and memory/storage details to the local listing before purchase.
Which battery is bigger, and how fast do they charge?
The Spanish g37 specification lists a 7,000mAh rated battery, with 6,790mAh capacity. Motorola lists 6,720mAh for the g86 power. Both models are listed with 30W TurboPower wired charging; the Spanish g37 listing also specifies 6W wired reverse charging.

Battery capacity alone cannot show which phone lasts longer in everyday use. Motorola’s 2025 launch announcement says the g86 power “features a 6720mAh battery with 53 hours of power”; that is a manufacturer claim, not an independent head-to-head result. The EMEA support page separately states up to 50 hours. Neither figure establishes comparative real-world endurance. See Motorola’s g86 power launch announcement.

What do the protection and audio specifications show?
Motorola’s EMEA g86 listing gives IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H ratings. The Spanish g37 listing gives IP64, MIL-STD-810H and Gorilla Glass 7i. These are the published ratings for those listings; they are not a guarantee against damage in every situation.
Both listings specify stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos. The g37 Spain listing includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the g86 listing identifies a USB-C headphone connection. Choose based on the connection you use and verify the local device specification.
What is the price difference?
On 2026-10-07, Motorola UK listed the g86 power in an 8/512GB configuration for £299.99. On the same date, Motorola Netherlands listed the g37 power in a 4/256GB configuration for €249.99, reduced from €279.99. These are storefront examples from different countries, currencies and storage configurations—not a like-for-like price comparison. Do not subtract or convert them into a direct price gap. Check the current local offer, storage tier and any promotion before buying. Price observations are from Motorola storefront listings.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the g86 power if the sharper AMOLED display, listed 512GB storage or higher listed physical RAM configuration is the priority.
- Consider the g37 power if the local model matches the Spanish listing and you value its larger rated battery, 3.5mm headphone jack or wired reverse charging.
- Verify first if you are shopping for the g37 power: Motorola’s regional listings differ on processor, RAM and storage.
The available specifications and prices do not establish which phone performs better in independent testing, lasts longer in a controlled battery comparison, or receives longer software support. Those points should not be inferred from the spec sheet.
