The Moto G85 is the better fit if you want a lighter phone with a higher-refresh pOLED screen; the Moto G67 Power is the clearer pick if battery capacity and a higher stated ingress-protection rating matter more. Motorola lists 5,000 mAh for the G85 and 7,000 mAh for the G67 Power, but those figures do not establish real-world battery life. A current, like-for-like India price difference is not established by the available listings, so compare matching storage variants and sellers before deciding.

How the Moto G85 and G67 Power compare

These figures come from Motorola India support pages and describe the specifications listed for those market pages. Motorola notes that specifications can vary by market, so check the exact regional model before purchase.

Which phone has the better display?

On listed specifications, the G85 has the display advantage: its 144 Hz pOLED panel is both higher-refresh and a different panel technology from the G67 Power’s 120 Hz LCD. That makes the G85 the more compelling choice if screen type and refresh rate are priorities. These are manufacturer specifications, not an independent assessment of brightness, color accuracy, or viewing experience.

Which one is lighter and better protected?

The G85 is listed at around 172 g, versus 210 g for the G67 Power—a difference of about 38 g in Motorola’s stated figures. If you prefer a lighter handset for everyday carrying, that may be a meaningful practical distinction.

The G67 Power has an IP64 rating, while the G85 is listed as IP52. These are ingress-protection ratings, not a promise that either phone is waterproof. Follow the manufacturer’s care guidance and do not infer protection beyond what the rating indicates.

Does the G67 Power last longer between charges?

The G67 Power has 2,000 mAh more listed battery capacity: 7,000 mAh compared with 5,000 mAh in the G85. Capacity gives the G67 Power a paper-spec advantage, but it does not prove how many hours either model will last. The available evidence contains no controlled, directly comparable battery test.

Motorola’s G67 Power launch video promotes “up to 58 hours” of battery life. The testing method is not available in the cited result, so treat that as a manufacturer promotional claim rather than a guaranteed or independently verified runtime. Charging figures are also different: Motorola lists 30 W capability for the G67 Power and 33 W TurboPower for the G85.

Is one phone faster?

The G85 lists a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, while the G67 Power lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. Their names and stated manufacturing processes—6 nm and 4 nm, respectively—are not a substitute for comparable benchmark results. The available evidence does not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming, sustained workloads, or thermal performance.

Which phone has the better cameras?

A complete camera verdict is not supported by the inspected specifications. Motorola’s G67 Power page lists a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 32 MP front camera. It lists UHD 30 fps capture for the main rear camera and UHD/FHD 30 fps for the rear 8 MP camera. The inspected G85 support page does not provide corresponding camera specifications, and there are no comparable photo or video tests here. Do not choose a camera winner from the available information alone.

What do the software listings and update policy tell you?

Motorola lists Android 14 for the G85 and Android 15 for the G67 Power. Those are the base versions shown on the respective specification pages; they do not by themselves establish current installed software or how many updates remain for a particular handset.

A separate Motorola support page titled “moto g67 / g67 power” states one OS upgrade and three years of security maintenance releases. Since its title covers two models and the specification pages have distinct model contexts, confirm that this policy applies to the exact regional G67 Power variant you are considering. Check the phone’s current update status as well.

How to compare the India prices fairly

The Motorola India family-page result displayed the G85 at ₹15,999, with ₹20,999 MRP, and showed 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB options. This does not establish a current price for the G67 Power, so it is not enough to calculate a reliable price difference.

For a useful comparison, check both phones on the same day and match the storage tier, retailer, seller type, and offer conditions. Separate the listed MRP from the actual offer price, and confirm stock and the exact model variant before ordering. Prices and availability can change.

Which should you buy?

  • Choose the Moto G85 if you value a pOLED screen with a listed 144 Hz refresh rate and a substantially lighter listed body.
  • Consider the Moto G67 Power if its larger 7,000 mAh rated battery capacity, IP64 rating, or listed camera hardware better fits your priorities.
  • Hold off on a performance, camera, or price verdict until you can compare independent tests or current listings for the exact variants you would buy.

Before paying, verify the regional model, storage configuration, current software status, and same-day price. Motorola’s product pages are G85 specifications, G67 Power specifications, and G67 / G67 Power specifications and support policy. Motorola’s launch video carries the battery-life promotion: G67 Power launch video.
