The Xiaomi Redmi 17 5G has the stronger published figures for battery capacity, charging speed and software support; the Moto G67 Power’s listed specifications include a Full HD+ 120Hz display and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. Neither set of specifications proves which phone lasts longer or feels faster in everyday use. Price is also unsettled: Motorola’s India listing showed the Moto at ₹25,999 but out of stock on October 7, 2026, while a third-party comparison page showed different prices.

These are manufacturer-listed figures, not results from a matched test. Motorola’s specifications are on its Moto G67/G67 Power support page; Xiaomi’s are on the Redmi 17 5G product page. The Xiaomi page details cited here establish its screen size but not its resolution or refresh rate, so those values are not filled in.
Which phone has the better display?
The Moto’s listed display details are more specific: it has a 6.7-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi lists the Redmi’s screen as 6.9 inches, making it larger by the stated diagonal, but the cited product-page details do not establish its resolution, panel type or refresh rate. Choose based on the attributes that are actually confirmed, rather than assuming that the larger screen is sharper or smoother.

The Redmi 17 5G is listed with a 7900mAh typical battery and 45W Turbo Charging; Motorola lists a 7000mAh battery and 30W device charging capability for the Moto G67 Power. Those figures give Redmi the higher published capacity and charging rating. They do not establish comparative screen-on time or how long either phone takes to charge: that depends on usage and charging conditions, and no comparable real-world test is available here.

Performance and camera evidence
The Moto uses a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, while the Redmi uses a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, according to the manufacturers’ specifications. Chip names alone do not show how the phones perform in daily tasks, games or sustained workloads. No controlled, same-condition benchmark or hands-on comparison is available to support calling either model faster.
The available information also does not establish which phone takes better photos or video. A camera winner would require comparable sample images or a credible review; listed specifications alone would not settle image quality.

Software support: Redmi’s longer stated commitment
Xiaomi says the Redmi 17 5G is backed by four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. Motorola’s support listing gives the Moto G67/G67 Power “1 OS + 3 year SMR.” On those published terms, Xiaomi promises a longer support period. Update rollout timing can vary by region, so the stated commitment does not mean every update arrives everywhere at the same time.

Price difference and availability in India
Prices are time-sensitive and the available figures are not a confirmed like-for-like, in-stock comparison. On October 7, 2026, Motorola’s India product page listed the Moto G67 Power at ₹25,999, showed an MRP of ₹30,999 and marked it out of stock. Check the Motorola India listing for current stock and price.

Consider the Redmi 17 5G if
- You value its higher listed typical battery capacity and 45W charging rating.
- You want the longer software-support commitment published by Xiaomi.
- You prefer the larger 6.9-inch screen, while recognizing that the cited page details do not establish its resolution or refresh rate.
Consider the Moto G67 Power if
- You want the confirmed Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate listed for its 6.7-inch LCD.
- The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset is relevant to your shortlist, but compare independent tests before treating it as a performance advantage.
- You can find the specific memory configuration you want at a live price and in-stock status that make sense for you.
Before choosing, verify the memory configuration, live price and stock for both phones. The published figures make the Redmi the clearer fit for higher stated battery capacity, faster rated charging and longer support; they do not establish an overall winner for speed, battery life or camera quality.
