The Moto G35 5G has the sharper documented display, stereo speakers and expandable storage; Samsung’s Galaxy F70e 5G offers a larger stated battery, a higher IP rating and a six-year OS and security update promise. Their headline ₹12,499 prices are not directly equivalent: Motorola’s is a catalog listing, while Samsung’s was a launch price that included bank cashback.

How do the Moto G35 and Galaxy F70e compare?

Specifications can vary by market, and manufacturers say availability or specifications may change. These figures refer to the India-market information cited below. Processor names and clock speeds alone do not establish which phone performs better in everyday use; no matched independent benchmark is available here.

Which phone has the better display?

The Moto G35 has the higher listed resolution: 2400 × 1080 pixels versus the Galaxy F70e’s 720 × 1600. That makes the Motorola the stronger choice on documented pixel detail. Samsung lists a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, which concerns how often the display can refresh—not how many pixels it has. The cited Motorola India page does not establish a directly comparable refresh-rate figure, so it does not support a refresh-rate winner.

Which has the bigger battery, and does that mean longer runtime?

Samsung lists a 6,000mAh typical battery for the F70e, with a rated minimum of 5,830mAh; Motorola lists 5,000mAh for the G35. The F70e also has the higher stated charging wattage, 25W compared with 18W. Capacity and charging ratings are specifications, not measured battery-life or charging-time results, so they do not prove which phone lasts longer in real use.

What is the price difference in India?

Phone and configuration Published figure What the figure means
Moto G35 5G, 4GB/128GB ₹12,499 Motorola India catalog display, accessed 2026-10-07; not a verified live marketplace checkout price
Galaxy F70e 5G, 4GB/128GB ₹12,499 Samsung India’s 2026-02-09 launch announcement: net effective price including bank cashback; sale was announced to begin 2026-02-17
Galaxy F70e 5G, 6GB/128GB ₹13,999 Samsung India’s 2026-02-09 launch announcement: net effective price including bank cashback

The matching ₹12,499 figures do not show that the phones have the same current transaction price: one is a catalog display and the other is a historical cashback-dependent launch price. Samsung also announced an additional limited-period ₹500 launch offer. Current retailer stock, seller pricing and checkout totals were not verified. Compare the same RAM and storage configuration, then check whether any bank offer applies to you.

What do software support and durability mean for the choice?

Updates

Samsung explicitly promised six years of OS and security updates for the Galaxy F70e. Motorola’s cited India specification page lists Android 14 but does not state an update-support duration; that absence is not evidence of a particular Motorola policy. If a published support commitment is a deciding factor, the Samsung promise is the clearer documented one.

Water and dust resistance

The F70e is rated IP54 and the G35 IP52. Samsung describes its IP54 test as exposure to fresh water sprayed at 10 liters per minute for five minutes from all angles. Samsung cautions that resistance can diminish with wear and advises against beach or pool use. Neither rating makes a phone waterproof or guarantees protection from water damage.

Which phone should you choose?

  • Choose the Moto G35 if you prioritize the higher listed screen resolution, stereo speakers, a lighter published weight, or microSD expansion up to 1TB.
  • Choose the Galaxy F70e if you value its higher stated battery capacity and charging wattage, IP54 rating, or Samsung’s explicit six-year OS and security update promise.
  • Do not choose on price alone using the two ₹12,499 figures: they have different dates and conditions, and one includes bank cashback.

For both phones, the cited official specifications do not establish a full camera-quality comparison. Samsung lists a 50MP main and 2MP depth rear camera, but megapixel counts do not establish image quality; the available Motorola India specification source does not establish the G35’s complete camera system. No independent matched testing here resolves camera quality, display brightness, battery endurance or durability.
