Proxima is in Fainweald, in the Shattered Beacon area of Blackridge Cliffs, north of Blackridge Pass. From the Blackridge Pass Beacon, follow the northern route to the fighting cultists and Treants, then take the sloping path on the left to an isolated structure. Deal with the spider-like enemy at the approach, enter, and interact with Proxima’s remains. Complete the introductory memory sequence to unlock her as a permanent Shell.
Where is Proxima in Mortal Shell II?
Proxima’s remains are inside an isolated structure near the Shattered Beacon in Fainweald’s Blackridge Cliffs. Blackridge Pass is the route landmark to the south. The detailed route below comes from third-party guides; Playstack’s official game information describes the Shell system but does not document Proxima’s specific location.
How to reach Proxima from Blackridge Pass
- Fast travel to the Blackridge Pass Beacon in Fainweald, if it is available.
- Follow the path north through Blackridge Cliffs toward the Shattered Beacon.
- Continue until you reach the area where cultists and Treants are fighting.
- Take the sloping path on the left toward the isolated structure.
- Pass or defeat the spider-like enemy guarding the approach.
- Enter the structure and interact with Proxima’s remains.
- Complete the introductory memory sequence. Reaching the remains is not enough by itself; finishing the sequence unlocks Proxima as a permanent Shell.
What if the Blackridge Pass Beacon is unavailable?
Another third-party guide describes approaching from near Widow’s Overlook and proceeding across Blackridge Pass. Use your map marker to reach Blackridge Pass, then follow the route toward the Shattered Beacon and the isolated structure. The guides offer different starting points, but do not provide a timed comparison proving one route is fastest for every player.
What Proxima’s abilities do
A dedicated Proxima guide identifies her as the Broodseeker and describes her kit as built around grappling, Lightning, and crowd control. These are guide descriptions, not official route instructions or independently verified testing.

Biosampler uses a grapple: it can pull lighter enemies toward Proxima, or pull her toward targets that cannot be displaced. The guide describes following the grapple with a Lightning attack.
Grafted Armour
Grafted Armour can mitigate melee or ranged damage and prevent stagger when it triggers. Its effect is chance-based, so it should not be treated as guaranteed protection.

Playstack describes Mortal Shell II as a standalone action-RPG developed by Cold Symmetry, with an interconnected open world where players discover and awaken Shells that provide distinct strengths and abilities. Playstack’s game page says the world contains more than 60 dungeons; that is a game-wide figure, not a statistic about Proxima’s route. Playstack announced a digital worldwide release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on August 20, 2026.
