The Rabid Grisha Pack waits in a cage arena at the bottom of the Holding Cells dungeon. Enter through the well in Blackridge Hamlet, find the Feeding Room Key in the waterlogged lower cells, then use the lift beyond the Feeding Room. In the arena, focus on bringing down one Grisha quickly, keep both enemies in view, and dodge attacks marked by a red indicator.
Where to find the Rabid Grisha boss
The boss arena is at the bottom of Holding Cells. One route begins at the well in Blackridge Hamlet, southeast of the Blackridge Pass Beacon. A separate walkthrough also describes an entry to Holding Cells from Gloomshade Grove, so the Hamlet well is a route to the boss rather than the only known way into the dungeon.
Route from the Blackridge Hamlet well
- Find the well in Blackridge Hamlet and descend into Holding Cells.
- Continue through the lower, waterlogged cells and look for a shack containing the Feeding Room Key.
- Return to the locked Feeding Room door and use the key.
- Continue through the room and take the lift to the cage arena, where the Rabid Grisha Pack is waiting.

How to handle two Grishas at once
This is a two-enemy fight, so getting surrounded or pinned is a major risk. Keep enough distance to see both enemies’ wind-ups, and avoid committing to an attack when the second Grisha can close in. The guides agree on the broad approach: create an opening, concentrate damage on one target, then deal with the survivor as a duel.

Use a burst setup to remove one enemy
Nerd’s Chalk and All Things How recommend The Iconoclast with the Shrike Stone for a damage-focused approach. Save Resolve for the Shrike Stone: its shockwave can stagger and damage a Grisha. Focus that damage on one enemy until it falls instead of spreading attacks across the pair.
Use a summon to split their attention
If you have a Grisha Remnant summon available, the guides recommend using it to distract the pack. The split in attention can give you room to attack or reposition, but it is an opening tool—not a guarantee that the enemies will stay separated.

Dodge red-indicator attacks
Roll away from attacks marked by a red indicator rather than trying to parry them. Once one Grisha is down, keep watching the remaining enemy’s wind-up and punish openings after its attacks.
Turn the hanging cylinders into openings
Hanging cylinders above the arena can knock down a Grisha. When an enemy stands beneath one, shoot the cylinder to drop it and use the resulting knockdown as a damage window. The guides describe the cylinders as limited arena resources, so aim for a useful opening rather than firing without regard to the enemy’s position.

Alternative shells and reward
If you prefer a more defensive setup, All Things How names Eredrim for durability, Tiel for perfect-dodge benefits, and Proxima for slowing or stasis effects. These are options from that guide, not requirements for the fight; choose based on whether you need survivability or help controlling the encounter.
The guides identify Inflamed Clawstone as the reward for defeating the pack. All Things How describes it as a Tarstone that adds fire damage to the Veteran’s Battle Axe. Reports of the Grisha Remnant reward quantity differ, so no specific count is established here.
