An unofficial roster reports 30 named Mortal Shell II minibosses, but it is based on an Open Beta client snapshot—not proof that all 30 appear in the retail game. Unofficial guides map only some encounters, and a few route descriptions conflict. Use the checklist below as a guide to reported locations, not a fully verified retail-game map.

How to read this checklist

The 30-name roster was reported by MortalShell2.org Wiki from Open Beta client UI text in build 24459107, checked August 18, 2026. That snapshot supports the names and their grouping as bosses or minibosses; it does not establish their encounter locations, phases, drops, difficulty, or retail availability. Nerd’s Chalk updated its location guide August 21, 2026, but leaves many routes unpinned. The routes below are unofficial guide reports, not developer-confirmed directions.

“Route reported” means a guide supplies a landmark or direction. “Conflicting reports” means sources describe different routes or encounter labels. “Route not established” means the reviewed guides do not provide a usable location. Check directions against your game version, since the source material covers August 2026 and later game updates may change content.

Known routes by Beacon, dungeon, or landmark

Fainweald

  • Great Arbiter of Flesh — Route reported: From Widow’s Overlook, head southeast down the slope toward Mushroom Village. AllThingsHow describes the miniboss patrolling a dirt clearing and calls the encounter optional; Nerd’s Chalk also places it on the route toward Mushroom Village.
  • Grisha — Route reported: Found at the end of the Flooded Village dungeon in Fainweald. AllThingsHow places the dungeon south of Blackridge Pass Beacon.
  • Vrannic, the Grand Illusionist — Conflicting encounter labels: Nerd’s Chalk places Vrannic around Mushroom Village Gate Beacon and lists a Volatile Fragment among the rewards. AllThingsHow describes a Hall of Illusion final boss unlocked after cleansing Mushroom Village Gate Beacon. Confirm that the encounter name and route match your build.

Disciple’s Pass

  • Tainted Vestige — Route reported: From Disciple’s Grotto Beacon, turn left and take the cave exit into the grove.
  • Gloombound Ritualist — Conflicting reports: Nerd’s Chalk places it in Disciple’s Pass at Village Outskirts. AllThingsHow instead describes a prologue fight reached by crossing the bridge from Village Outskirts Beacon. These accounts do not establish one shared route, so do not treat either as a settled direction.

Lonesome Spire and Mammon

  • Subjugated Guardian — Route reported: Nerd’s Chalk places this encounter at the end of Sentry’s Grave in Lonesome Spire, Mammon. The guide says defeating it awards the Ballistazooka.
  • The Warden — Route reported: Below Citadel of Penance Beacon, descend to the lowest level and ride either elevator to reach the lower arena. AllThingsHow also directs players to the lowest level and an elevator before entering the arena.
  • Vellen, High Lord of Mammon — Route reported: AllThingsHow places Vellen west of High Lord’s Courtyard Beacon. Follow the large stairwell down into an underground area.

The Silent Steps and Chamber of Becoming

  • Sariel, the Endless — Route reported: From The Silent Steps Beacon, go southeast to a large stone platform. Nerd’s Chalk describes a subsequent encounter in the Chamber of Becoming; destroying four tombstones there prevents revivals. AllThingsHow also places the encounter southeast of the Beacon and in the Chamber, while PowerPyx says the Chamber is reached from the platform encounter.

Other reported routes

  • Sester Secundus — Route reported: AllThingsHow places the encounter at Revenant Graves, southeast of Outskirts of Mammon Beacon, and links it to Genessa via Sester’s Censer.
  • The Wandering Shepherd — Route reported: AllThingsHow says to cross the bridge past Sunken Village Beacon to a fenced pasture.
  • Tarblighted Stoner — Conflicting route descriptions: Nerd’s Chalk places it at Sanguine Caverns Gate. AllThingsHow describes a late-game fight near Sanguine Shoreline Beacon and a transporter to a cave entrance. The available directions do not establish whether these describe the same approach.
  • The Tarblighted Shepherd — Route not established: Nerd’s Chalk does not pin down a route. The roster wiki separately cites a beta reward route near Sunken Village Beacon, explicitly based on Open Beta evidence; that is not a verified retail location.
  • Bloodcursed Lithopod — Route not established: PowerPyx says Ravaged Hideout becomes accessible after this miniboss is defeated, but its opened dungeon guide does not give the miniboss’s location.
