The Bell Pit Grisha Remnant farm is an update-sensitive exploit, not a dependable current-build method. A guide updated August 26, 2026 describes how to trigger extra Remnants by summoning Grisha near a spike pit, but a September 14 developer hotfix later addressed Grisha Remnant spawning and targeting. The hotfix does not say whether it removed the Bell Pit drop behavior, and a September player post claims the farm was patched. Check it in your installed version before building a farming plan around it.
How the reported Bell Pit farm works
The method relies on the Grisha Remnant’s passive effect: according to the August 26 guide, melee swings can trigger its summon. The guide reports that when the summoned Grisha falls into the Bell Pit or lands on its spikes, it can produce another Remnant. That is an unintended behavior, and it is not described as a guaranteed drop on every swing; some summons land on the floor instead.
The guide recommends starting with a stack of Remnants earned through its Marrow Keep Grisha loop, then equipping a Grisha Remnant in the passive slot for the Bell Pit attempt. Its instructions are guide-reported rather than independently confirmed for every current platform or build. NerdsChalk’s Bell Pit guide, updated August 26, 2026, also notes that a balance update was rolling out around August 21.
Where is the Bell Pit?
The route described in the guide begins at the Outskirts of Mammon beacon, reaches a beacon lower down by crossing bridges and using a traversal point, then doubles back uphill toward the dungeon. The source does not provide a verified map coordinate, so use the landmarks and sequence rather than relying on an exact location marker.

- Start at the Outskirts of Mammon beacon and descend across the bridges, following the route’s traversal point to the beacon at the bottom.
- From the lower beacon, retrace the route uphill to the dungeon entrance.
- Shoot the bell at the entrance to raise the bridge, then enter and clear the room.
- Proceed to the bell beside the spike pit. The guide’s setup uses the safer side beside the bell, rather than standing on the exposed rail.
Bell Pit setup and farming steps
- Equip Grisha Remnant in the passive slot. The guide recommends having a starting stack from the Marrow Keep Grisha loop before attempting this method.
- Clear the room so enemies do not interrupt the setup.
- Stand beside the bell on the safer side of the pit, not out on the exposed rail.
- Use a fast weapon and repeatedly swing to trigger the passive summon. Watch where the Grisha lands: the reported extra Remnant depends on it falling into the pit or landing on the spikes.
- Confirm that the behavior is still occurring in your installed build before spending time on repeated attempts. The reported landing variation means swings do not guarantee extra Remnants.
Does the Grisha Remnant farm still work?
There is no firm confirmation in these sources that the Bell Pit exploit works in the current build. On September 14, 2026, developer-published Steam hotfix notes for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series said: “Fixed spawning and targeting issues with Grisha Remnant and the Summon Stone.” The note establishes that related summon behavior changed after the August guide, but it does not specifically say the Bell Pit drop exploit was removed. Read the developer’s September 14 hotfix notes on Steam.
A September 2026 Reddit post says discovered farms, including Bell Pit, were patched, but it is anecdotal and does not identify a verified platform or build. Treat that as a warning, not official confirmation. See the September community report. Since platform update timing can differ, the practical check is whether the summon and extra-drop behavior occur in your own installed version.

Alternative: Desolate Keep respawn loop
A separate guide checked on August 22, 2026 for Balance Patch 1 on PC describes a Grisha loop in Desolate Keep. It says to carry the Slayer Seal without equipping it, open the hidden dungeon, defeat Grisha, leave, rest at a Beacon, and return. The guide warns that loops can close after updates, and its PC patch check does not establish behavior on every console or later build.
- Carry the Slayer Seal, but do not equip it.
- Open the hidden dungeon in Desolate Keep and defeat Grisha.
- Leave the dungeon, rest at a Beacon, then return to check whether Grisha has respawned.
Mortal Shell 2 Hub’s Grisha Remnant guide describes this alternative; regard it as a reported route rather than a guarantee that the loop remains open after later patches.
