Find Baghead by heading from the Gloomshade Grove Beacon through the Bone Gates toward Desolate Peak. To earn the ending-related trophy, sit with the nearby group when prompted, help Baghead with his Special Moonshine request, return the rejected bottle to its crate, then come back empty-handed and accept the final prompts. Do not give him an item if you are trying to preserve this branch.
Where to find Baghead in Mortal Shell 2
Start at the Gloomshade Grove Beacon and follow the Bone Gates route toward Desolate Peak. Guides place Baghead in that area; the directions are guide-derived rather than confirmed by an official map or developer walkthrough. See PowerPyx’s Bag Holder guide and NerdsChalk’s Baghead location guide.
How to complete Baghead’s request and trigger the ending
- Speak with Baghead until he asks you to sit with the nearby group, then sit once.
- Resume the conversation and agree to help.
- Pick up the Special Moonshine bottle and offer it to Baghead.
- After he rejects it, return the bottle to its crate.
- Return to Baghead without an item and confirm the final prompts. Guides associate this sequence with an alternate credits sequence and the Bag Holder trophy.
- Let the ending sequence finish, then check your platform’s trophy or achievement list. One guide says you can skip the credits, but unlock behavior may vary by current game build and platform.

Missability and the item warning
PowerPyx describes the trophy as missable and warns that giving Baghead a nearby item can prevent the trophy on that playthrough. The safest approach is to avoid giving him any item before completing the empty-handed branch. A save made before the encounter can provide a safeguard, but the cited guide does not establish that every platform or build allows recovery from a missed choice.

PowerPyx reproduces the trophy description as: “You’ve mastered nothing and this is your reward. Pretty pointless, eh?” This is in-game wording as reported by the guide, not a developer statement.
Bag Holder or Baghead: which trophy name should you look for?
Names may differ by platform or guide. A separate guide reports that Steam calls the achievement “Baghead,” while “Bag Holder” is used as an older-guide alias. Check the name displayed in your own platform’s achievement or trophy list rather than relying on a guide’s label. The naming report is secondary, so the exact current label is not established for every platform.
