The playable Militsioner Demo requires, at minimum, Windows 7/8/10 64-bit, an Intel i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X, 8 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or Radeon RX 570 with 4 GB of VRAM, DirectX 10, and 20 GB of free storage. Those figures apply to the demo released on October 8, 2026. The full game is planned for 2027, and its Steam page currently lists only Windows 7/8/10 64-bit and 20 GB of storage; CPU, memory, graphics and DirectX requirements have not been published there.
What Militsioner is and which version these requirements cover
Militsioner is a single-player action-adventure immersive sim. Steam describes a game about escaping a town watched by a colossal policeman, with stealth, exploration, different escape approaches, reactive characters and consequences for player actions. The public demo is a separate, playable release; the complete game remains planned for 2027. You can verify the game description and release status on the official Militsioner Steam page, and the demo release is documented on its Steam listing.
That distinction matters. The detailed hardware list belongs to the demo, not to a confirmed final-game specification. Treat the demo as the only current way to test your own PC, rather than assuming its minimums will remain unchanged for the 2027 release.
Militsioner Demo minimum PC requirements
The following are the minimum specifications shown on Valve’s Steam listing for the demo. They are requirements for launching and running the demo, not a measured performance target.

What the full game currently lists
The full-game Steam page is still incomplete. Its current information contains only the following entries:
| Component | Full-game listing currently shows |
|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 7/8/10 64-bit |
| Storage | 20 GB available space |
| Processor | Not listed |
| Memory | Not listed |
| Graphics card and VRAM | Not listed |
| DirectX | Not listed |
The page also identifies the full release as planned for 2027 rather than available now. Do not copy the demo’s i5-6600/Ryzen 3 1300X, 8 GB, GTX 1050 Ti/RX 570 or DirectX 10 entries into a “final requirements” box. They remain demo-only until the developer publishes a complete specification. Check the full-game Steam listing again near launch.
Can your PC run the Militsioner Demo?
Use the demo’s list as a compatibility checklist. Compare your actual installed components, not just the name of your computer or graphics card family.
1. Check Windows edition and architecture
Open Settings > System > About in Windows and read “System type.” The listed target is a 64-bit installation of Windows 7, 8 or 10. A 32-bit installation does not satisfy that requirement. The page does not establish support details for other Windows editions, so an apparently newer system should still be tested with the demo rather than treated as guaranteed.

2. Identify the processor
In Settings > System > About, note the processor model. Alternatively, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, choose Performance, and select CPU. Compare the model with the listed Intel Core i5-6600 or Ryzen 3 1300X minimums. The listing does not provide a cross-generation equivalency table, so a model number alone cannot establish exact performance.
3. Check installed memory
Task Manager’s Performance > Memory panel shows total RAM. The demo requires 8 GB. Close browsers, launchers and background applications before testing so that Windows and the game have usable memory; total installed RAM is not the same as free RAM.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches4. Verify the discrete GPU and VRAM
Open Task Manager > Performance > GPU to see the active graphics adapter and dedicated GPU memory. You can also run dxdiag from the Windows search box and inspect the Display tab. The minimum examples are a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 570 with 4 GB of VRAM. Integrated graphics should not be assumed to match either model simply because a computer is recent.
5. Make room for the installation
Steam lists 20 GB of available space. Check the destination drive in File Explorer before installing, and leave additional room for Windows, shader caches and updates. The published number is not a forecast of the final game’s patch size.
6. Test the free demo
If your PC is close to one of the minimums, install the public demo from Steam and test the areas and effects you expect to use. This is more reliable than inferring playability from a specification comparison, because the official page publishes no target frame rate or benchmark.

What “minimum” does—and does not—promise
A minimum list answers whether the developer has identified a baseline configuration; it does not define a comfortable experience. The Militsioner pages do not state whether the demo minimums target 30 or 60 frames per second, which resolution they assume, which image-quality preset is intended, or whether heavy scenes reduce performance. No independently published benchmark or measured FPS figure is available in the cited sources.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Consequently, a PC that meets every line may still need a lower resolution or quality level, while a faster PC may run the demo well. Do not treat the GTX 1050 Ti or RX 570 as a suggested purchase: they are the two minimum GPU examples shown by Steam, and no current price, stock or upgrade value is established here.
Performance settings: what is documented and how to test safely
The official store pages and announcements do not document the demo’s graphics menu, quality presets, resolution controls, upscaling modes, frame limiter or recommended settings. Use only controls that are visibly present in your installed build.
Use a one-change-at-a-time method
- Launch the demo and open its in-game Video, Graphics or similarly named menu, if your build provides one.
- Record the current resolution and any quality values before changing anything. This gives you a known configuration to restore.
- Change one available control, such as resolution or a quality level, and play the same demanding section for several minutes.
- Judge both smoothness and image quality. If the change helps, keep it; if it does not, restore it and test the next visible control.
- Restart the game after a setting asks for a restart, then confirm that the change persisted.
This process avoids assuming that a menu option exists or that a particular preset fixes performance. The appropriate setting depends on your build, driver and hardware.
Keep the graphics driver current
Install a driver supplied through your GPU manufacturer’s normal support channel, reboot, and retest. Record the driver version when reporting a problem. Updating a driver can correct compatibility issues, but it cannot turn a below-minimum GPU into a guaranteed supported configuration.

Do not infer features from database metadata
SteamDB detects Unreal Engine and software-development kits associated with AMD FSR, Intel XeSS and NVIDIA DLSS/frame generation for the demo. That metadata is not proof that these features are enabled, exposed in the player menu, supported on every GPU or suitable for your system. The relevant configuration page is SteamDB’s Militsioner Demo configuration entry; treat it as technical metadata, not as an instruction to enable a specific option.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Troubleshooting by symptom
The demo will not start
- Confirm that Windows is 64-bit and that at least 20 GB is free on the installation drive.
- Verify the installed GPU model and dedicated VRAM against the demo minimums.
- Update the graphics driver, restart Windows and try again.
- Use Steam’s installed-file verification for the demo if the download may be incomplete.
If the machine is below a published minimum, a launch failure cannot be treated as a defect in a supported configuration.
Stuttering or inconsistent frame delivery
- Close unnecessary applications and browser tabs to free CPU time and RAM.
- Watch CPU, GPU, memory and VRAM use in Task Manager while reproducing the problem.
- Change one graphics control at a time in the in-game menu, then retest the same scene.
- Check that the game is using the intended discrete GPU on a laptop rather than an integrated adapter.
Because no official benchmark target exists, describe the resolution, visible settings, driver version and hardware when comparing results with other players.
Image quality is poor after an adjustment
Return the altered control to its previous value, then test a different visible option. Do not assume that an upscaler, frame-generation mode or preset is available merely because related technology appears in SteamDB metadata.
Recommended Free Tools
Should you upgrade before trying it?
For a borderline system, downloading the free demo is the least speculative choice. If your processor, RAM or GPU is below the published demo minimum, an upgrade may help, but the sources do not provide a recommended tier, a target frame rate or a performance-per-dollar comparison. Buying an older minimum-spec card solely for this title is therefore not a confirmed solution.
If your system meets or exceeds the demo minimum, test first and note the settings that deliver an acceptable result. Keep that result separate from expectations for the 2027 game: the final release may add content or revise its requirements, and its CPU, RAM, GPU and DirectX entries are currently absent from Steam.
What to monitor before the 2027 release
- The full-game Steam page’s missing CPU, memory, GPU and DirectX fields.
- Any developer announcement that adds recommended hardware or a target frame rate.
- Changes to the demo or a later build that expose additional graphics controls.
- Updated storage figures after patches or the final release package is known.
Until those details appear, the most defensible conclusion is narrow: the demo has a published minimum specification, while the complete game does not yet have a complete PC-requirements sheet.
