The Miele Triflex HX1 Pro Infinity is a versatile cordless stick vacuum with a movable motor unit, an illuminated powered floor head and two batteries in the US configuration reviewed here. Its clearest advantage is flexibility: you can change how the vacuum is arranged for floors, furniture or overhead cleaning, and swap batteries instead of waiting for one to recharge. The important runtime caveat is that Miele’s 120-minute maximum applies to the PowerUnit alone on low—not to cleaning with the powered head.
What the HX1 Pro Infinity includes
The exact US variant is Miele material number 11423920, EAN 4002516279686, in Infinity grey PF. Miele’s product specification lists an 8 lb (3.6 kg) weight, a 0.5-liter dust container and an HEPA lifetime exhaust filter. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test measurements. Miele’s US specification sheet identifies the package contents as:
- MultiFloor XXL SEB 435 electrobrush with BrilliantLight
- Crevice nozzle, dust brush and XXL upholstery nozzle
- Wall mount, power supply and charging tray
- Two batteries: the installed battery and an additional battery
Miele’s launch announcement says the Multi Floor XXL brush adapts to the floor type. That is the manufacturer’s description; the available evidence does not independently establish how well it performs on particular carpets or hard floors. Miele’s launch announcement also describes the Pro’s HEPA Lifetime Filter as a distinction from the standard HX1’s Hygiene Lifetime Filter.

Miele gives three maximum runtime figures for the US model. The setup matters more than the headline number:

All figures are Miele USA specifications, not independent endurance-test results. Actual runtime can vary with use, and Miele’s sheet does not establish a single expected duration for every home or floor surface. The second battery is useful for extending cleaning time: keep one charged while using the other, then exchange them when needed.
How the three-in-one design changes the way you clean
The Triflex design lets you reposition the PowerUnit—the motor and dust-collection assembly—along the vacuum. In the floor-cleaning arrangement, its placement supports a conventional stick-vacuum setup. Moving the unit nearer the handle can make the machine easier to maneuver for tasks such as cleaning above floor level; detaching it allows a more compact handheld configuration with the supplied tools. These are configuration options, not a claim that the vacuum is lighter overall: Miele lists the machine at 8 lb.
The package’s wall mount and charging equipment provide a standard storage and charging arrangement. Miele’s US launch announcement also says the unit can stand upright and be charged directly by cable when there is insufficient space or drilling into a wall is undesirable. Miele describes that alternative charging arrangement; confirm the included hardware and instructions for the specific model and market.

How the Pro trim differs from other HX1 versions
Miele’s launch-era description distinguishes the Pro from other HX1 trims by included equipment and filtration. The Pro is described with an HEPA Lifetime Filter, while the standard HX1 has a Hygiene Lifetime Filter. Miele says the HX1 Cat & Dog adds an ElectroCompact hand brush. The Pro’s US specification also includes the illuminated MultiFloor XXL SEB 435 head and an additional battery. Those distinctions describe the launch-era lineup; availability and package contents can differ by market and time.
For a buyer comparing HX1 trims, focus on whether the exact listing includes the spare battery, which floor head is supplied, whether the head has illumination, what filter is specified, and whether a pet-focused hand tool is included. Do not assume that a trim name alone guarantees the same contents in every country.
HX1 Pro or HX2?
The evidence available here confirms that Miele lists its HX-LA lithium-ion battery as compatible with Triflex HX1, HX1 Facelift and HX2. That establishes cross-generation battery compatibility for that accessory, but does not establish a complete HX1 Pro-versus-HX2 comparison. The available model-specific information does not substantiate comparative runtime, pickup, weight, bin capacity, filtration, included tools or current price for a particular HX2 configuration. Compare the exact regional model pages and box contents before choosing between generations rather than assuming one is better from the model number alone.

Filters and compatible replacement parts
Battery: HX-LA
Miele identifies the HX-LA lithium-ion battery as compatible with Triflex HX1, HX1 Facelift and HX2, and says it increases runtime. The HX1 Pro already includes an additional battery in the specified US package, so another one is most relevant if you need a further spare or are replacing a battery. Check Miele’s compatibility listing for the precise model before ordering. Miele’s HX-LA listing is the source for the compatible models.

Miele lists the HX-FSF fine dust filter for Triflex HX1 cordless stick vacuums, with an explicit exception: it does not fit the HX1 Facelift. The listing says to change the filter every three years. Check the HX-FSF compatibility and replacement information before purchase, especially if your vacuum is a Facelift variant.
Cleaning the filters
Miele Great Britain’s HX1 support instructions advise cleaning the fine dust filter at least monthly and cleaning the pre-filter as required. They caution against brushing the fine dust filter or cleaning its inside. The instructions also identify a soiled fine dust filter or pre-filter as one possible cause of reduced cleaning performance, not as a diagnosis for every loss of suction. Follow Miele’s UK support instructions for the detailed procedure; support guidance and product specifications cited here come from different markets.

Is the HX1 Pro worth choosing?
The Pro package is best suited to someone who values the flexible configuration, an illuminated powered floor head and the convenience of a second battery. Those features address practical needs more directly than the 120-minute headline runtime, which is for solo PowerUnit use. A buyer who does not need a spare battery or the Pro’s specified head and filter should compare the contents of other HX1 trims rather than paying for features they will not use.
Miele announced US availability in July 2020 with a starting price of $499. That is historical launch information, not a current price or indication of stock. Current vacuum pricing and availability are not established here, so check the exact model listing in your market before purchasing. There is also no independent pickup, durability or battery-endurance testing established in the cited material; judge those performance questions using evidence specific to the flooring and cleaning demands that matter to you.
