The Midea Flexify Pro MET26C4AST is a 26.4-quart French-door air fryer oven that independent testing found capable of crisping large batches well. The trade-offs are meaningful: it takes up substantial counter space, and its cooking-speed results are weaker than its capacity and batch-cooking scores. It is best suited to households that will use the extra room regularly—not shoppers seeking a compact, fast basket fryer.
Which Midea Flexify Pro does this review cover?
This review covers the stainless-steel MET26C4AST, not the visually similar black-enamel MET26C4AST-C1. Midea lists the stainless model with ten essential functions and four specialty modes; the C1 page lists eight essential functions and four pizza modes. Their interior finishes and accessory descriptions also differ, so check the full model number when buying or looking for replacement parts. How well does the MET26C4AST air-fry?
RTINGS published its review on August 28, 2026, and described results as mostly crispy and evenly fried, with a few undercooked pieces. It said everyday snacks such as fries, chicken nuggets, and mozzarella sticks still cook reasonably fast, but that maximum fan speed affects cooking speed. Its review verdict: “The Midea Flexify Pro offers good performance for air frying.” These are RTINGS’ findings, not firsthand testing for this article. The pattern matters more than any single score: RTINGS rated capacity and large-batch cooking much more highly than size and speed. The broad oven cavity can handle more food at once, but the appliance is not a space-saving choice, and its speed is not its standout strength.

How much space does it need?
Midea lists the MET26C4AST at 26.4 qt, measuring 17 inches wide, 16.4 inches deep, and 13.8 inches high; it weighs 21.3 pounds. Those are the manufacturer’s published product specifications. Measure the counter location before buying, including room to open the French doors and access the controls. RTINGS’ 4.2 size rating also reflects the central compromise: capacity comes with a large footprint.
What comes in the box, and what does Midea claim?
Midea lists an enamel baking tray, baking rack, air-fry basket, and crumb tray as included accessories for the MET26C4AST. The company also lists a one-year limited warranty. For replacement accessories, check compatibility against the exact MET26C4AST model; the available information does not establish replacement-part availability or a specific replacement SKU.

Midea says its Turbo Air Fry uses up to 90% less oil than a traditional air fryer oven, based on Midea internal laboratory test data. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independent RTINGS finding, and it does not establish a health benefit.

How does it compare with other air fryers?
The most useful comparison is between the Flexify Pro’s room for larger batches and the constraints of its oven format. RTINGS says the COSORI TurboBlaze offers a wider range of temperature and fan-speed settings and is more versatile; in some batch comparisons, the Flexify Pro leaves more items crisp. These are test-specific observations, not a universal ranking of every recipe or use case.

RTINGS also discusses the Our Place Wonder Oven, Wonder Oven Pro, and Breville Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro in relation to speed, consistency, versatility, and capacity. Its comparison is the appropriate place to examine those results; the findings do not justify extending a ranking beyond the tests described there.

- Verify the listing shows MET26C4AST if you want the stainless model and its listed functions and accessories; do not assume the C1 variant is identical.
