The MediaTek Helio G37 is an entry-level mobile chipset with eight Cortex-A53 CPU cores and PowerVR GE8320 graphics. Published benchmark results put tested G37 phones in the low-performance range, but the scores vary by benchmark version and handset configuration, so they are reference points—not a guaranteed result for every G37 phone.
MediaTek Helio G37 specifications
The G37 combines eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU on a 12 nm manufacturing process. Its CPU is arranged as four cores reported at up to 2.3 GHz and four at up to 1.8 GHz. These are entry-level components rather than a design aimed at demanding performance. NanoReview and Notebookcheck provide reference specifications.
Chipset-level connectivity and memory
Notebookcheck lists support for LPDDR3-933, LPDDR4-1200, and LPDDR4X-1600 memory, along with an integrated LTE Cat. 4 modem, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0. These describe chipset capabilities, not necessarily the configuration in every phone. Check the manufacturer’s specification sheet for the particular handset to confirm its memory type and wireless features.

Phones that use the G37
MediaTek identifies the Infinix Hot 30i as a G37-powered device on its Helio family page. NanoReview also lists the Motorola Moto G Power (2022), Moto G22, Moto G Play (2023), Tecno Spark 10, Honor X7a, and Infinix Hot 30 Play NFC. These examples establish device use, not current retail availability.

Published Helio G37 benchmark results
The figures below come from published reference pages, not controlled tests of every G37 phone. A benchmark measures a particular handset running a particular test; memory configuration and device implementation can affect the result.

How to interpret the scores
Keep benchmark versions separate
The 215,798 AnTuTu 11 figure and 138,566 AnTuTu figure are not directly comparable: the latter’s version is not stated, and the sources do not establish matching test conditions. Geekbench results are explicitly identified as version 6 by NanoReview and 91mobiles, while Notebookcheck’s Honor X7a figure specifies Geekbench 6.7.1. Version labels matter when judging whether two scores reflect a performance difference or simply different tests.

Separate CPU, graphics, and whole-device results
Geekbench single-core and multi-core scores describe CPU workloads separately. AnTuTu’s total combines CPU, GPU, memory, and user-experience components, so it is not a pure CPU or graphics score. Likewise, the 3DMark figures cited here are for its Sling Shot Extreme Unlimited Physics test; they should not be presented as standalone GPU performance.

A chipset name alone does not specify a phone’s RAM, memory technology, cooling, or software implementation. Where the source identifies the handset and RAM—as Notebookcheck does for its 3DMark examples—retain that context rather than treating the result as a fixed score for the G37.

What the benchmark evidence says about performance
The combination of Cortex-A53 cores, PowerVR GE8320 graphics, and the published results supports a straightforward conclusion: the Helio G37 is an entry-level chipset, not a high-performance modern platform. Benchmark numbers help distinguish CPU tests from graphics or aggregate device tests, but they cannot guarantee how a specific phone will perform. For that, use results from the exact handset and benchmark version you are considering.
