To check whether MC Addons Manager can be installed on your Xbox, open the console’s Microsoft Store and search for the app. If it appears for your console and account, open its listing and select Install; then look for it under My games & apps to launch it. The listing may not appear on every console or in every region, so verify it on your own Xbox rather than relying on an older tutorial.
How to check for and install MC Addons Manager
- Open Microsoft Store on your Xbox. Microsoft’s general guidance is to find an app or game in Store, open its listing, and choose the download or install control when available. Microsoft’s Xbox Store instructions describe this general process, but do not confirm that MC Addons Manager is currently listed.
- Search for “MC Addons Manager.” Check the results on the console you intend to use. An app listing on another device, or instructions that worked for another Xbox owner, do not establish that it is available for your account.
- If the listing appears, open it and select Install. Follow any prompts shown by the Store. A third-party guide published November 24, 2025 describes searching for and installing the app this way, but Store availability can change. Read the guide.
- Check My games & apps. After installation, look in the Apps area and try launching the manager. The Store listing and the app’s behavior on your console are the practical checks; older reports do not resolve either question today.
What the app is—and what it is not
MC Addons Manager is a third-party app associated with managing Minecraft Bedrock add-ons. It is digital software, not an Xbox accessory. The available sources do not establish that it can be downloaded or used on every Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S console.
Minecraft add-ons are additional game content, not PC-style code mods. Microsoft describes add-ons as extra products for a game, also referred to as in-app purchases or downloadable content. Some add-on packages need to be downloaded and installed before the content can be licensed and mounted. Microsoft’s add-ons documentation explains the general concept; it does not provide current instructions for importing community-made packs on Xbox.

If the app does not appear in your Store
If a search on your console returns no listing, there is no verified installation route established here for that console and account. Do not assume a result from a different Xbox generation, region, or account will apply to yours. The current Store listing, regional availability, and compatibility across Xbox models have not been confirmed.

Older community reports help explain why older tutorials may not match what you see, but they are not current compatibility notices. A Reddit post dated October 16, 2021 reproduced a developer statement that a console update affected the app’s file access. A TrueAchievements forum post dated March 25, 2022 said the app was not searchable in the Series X Store at that time. Neither report establishes its present-day status: the 2021 Reddit post and the 2022 forum discussion.
Choosing a route for Minecraft add-ons
