BioWare separately emphasized that the weapons and modifications were shared between the campaign and multiplayer: “With over 40+ weapons and 50+ weapon mods in Mass Effect 3 we pushed very hard to ensure there is zero difference between weapons/mods in Single Player vs. Multiplayer, they are the exact same.” That common data structure helps explain why fans have been able to explore custom characters, weapons, missions and progression systems rather than treating multiplayer as an isolated menu.

If you find a bot project, verify four things before installing it:
- Whether it is a released build or only a prototype demonstration.
- Which game edition and patch level it supports.
- Whether it replaces campaign files, multiplayer files or server components.
- Whether every player needs identical files and whether online connectivity is required.
Does Legendary Edition have Mass Effect 3 multiplayer?
Do not assume that a listing for Legendary Edition provides the same multiplayer environment as the original game. Legendary Explorer supports both the original trilogy and Legendary Edition as a modding target, but tool support does not establish that a particular multiplayer mod works there. Check the mod author’s edition statement, required files and known limitations before buying or installing anything.

- Whether AI assistance was used only for code generation or for the entire mod workflow.
- Whether the result is a private prototype, a downloadable release or a playable public server.
- Supported editions, platforms, patches and required tool versions.
- Whether it adds bots, custom missions, weapons, characters, networking changes or only a client-side experiment.
- Its licensing, source availability, safety record and support status.
