Technical judgments should be tied to the version tested. In its August 2026 review, TechRadar reported PC performance and matchmaking problems, while noting that fixes had already improved the situation. Steam community notes then documented PC performance improvements on August 21, 2026, and further stability, online, and matchmaking changes on August 28. Choose PC if you want to play there, value your preferred computer input setup, or mainly want offline content and accept that the available technical evidence does not establish current performance on your hardware. Consider waiting for more current, setup-specific reports if online reliability is decisive. Choose PS5 if you prefer that platform, but the evidence available here does not support claiming it performs better than PC.
