In Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, Black Panther is Shuri, and her combo game is built around two linked tools: the Spear of Bashenga’s reach for mid-range control and Bast’s Blessing for fast repositioning and cancel-enabled follow-ups. The official materials describe those mechanics but do not publish exact combo routes or inputs, so use Training Mode and the in-game Character Guide to verify sequences before relying on them.
Who is Black Panther in Marvel Tōkon?
Black Panther is Shuri, who has recently inherited the mantle while serving as Wakanda’s ruler and chief scientist. That identity and the broad mechanics below come from the official character announcement by Arc System Works Producer Takeshi Yamanaka.

How her two main combo tools work

These descriptions explain the intended roles, not a confirmed route, damage figure, frame advantage, or matchup strategy. Do not assume a spear hit automatically converts into a particular Bast’s Blessing sequence.

How to test Black Panther combos in Training Mode
- Open the game’s offline Training Mode and select Black Panther. Check her Character Guide for the current move names and inputs.
- Practice the Spear of Bashenga’s attacks at different distances. Note which attacks reach the training opponent and where they stop connecting.
- Try Bast’s Blessing from normal attacks and skills, one starting move at a time. Test each available dash direction and observe whether the cancel connects or changes your position.
- Watch the dedicated gauge while repeating a sequence. Record what actions consume it and whether the route can be repeated under the same conditions.
- Confirm any candidate combo from the same starting distance and with the same settings. If sharing a route, include the game version or patch, exact input sequence, and conditions so others can reproduce it.
PlayStation’s game description also mentions traditional and quick inputs and easy chain combos. Those are general system features; they do not confirm a particular Black Panther route. Use the Character Guide and your own in-game verification for exact sequences.

Where to play and practice
The official FAQ lists PlayStation 5 and PC availability and identifies Training Mode, Battle Guides, and Character Guides as offline content. Online play requires internet access and, on PS5, PlayStation Plus; on PC it requires a PlayStation account. Training Mode is the relevant place to explore her mechanics without treating an online match as a substitute for input verification.
