As of October 11, 2026, PlayStation confirms 20 playable characters for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls at launch and lists seven stage entries, counting Marvel’s New York at night and during the day separately. The roster includes Captain America, Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Storm, Doctor Doom, Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, Peni Parker, Magik, Wolverine, Danger, Hulk, Black Panther, Magneto, Green Goblin, Carnage, Blade, Loki, and Deadpool. Fighting Avengers
- Captain America: A member of the Fighting Avengers; see the official character page for his game-specific combat details.

- Hulk: Uses powerful attacks and a Gamma gauge that can activate Gamma Rage.
- Black Panther: Presented in this game as the Queen of Wakanda; her agility and Bast’s Blessing gauge distinguish her playstyle.

Knights of Doom
- Doctor Doom: Leader of the Knights of Doom.
- Magneto: Uses magnetism and battlefield debris to strengthen his skills.
- Green Goblin: Uses a glider for aerial movement and attacks; when its gauge runs out, projectiles remain available.
- Carnage: Reforms his body for attacks at range and uses Necrosis to power attacks.

What stages are confirmed?
PlayStation currently lists seven stage entries. The two New York settings are separate entries, not one stage with an uncounted visual variation.

Official team announcements establish these specific pairings. They do not establish a complete stage assignment for every character group.

How to read the launch roster and stage count
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is described by PlayStation as a 4v4 tag-team fighter in which players build a team of four. The 20-character figure is the confirmed playable launch roster; it does not count later pass content. PlayStation says the Year 1 pass is planned to add four playable characters and one new playable stage after launch.
