Rocket Raccoon’s free Trash King costume comes from the limited-time All Hallows’ Glow event. Completing a mission does not necessarily place the costume in the character list immediately: you must finish the missions shown in the live event panel and claim the reward there. If the costume is still missing, verify the bound account and character, check the in-game Inbox, relaunch the game, and rule out platform display restrictions before contacting Marvel Rivals Support through the official Discord.
What Trash King is and when it can be claimed
Trash King is a free Rocket Raccoon costume in Marvel Rivals. NetEase Games’ Version 20261015 patch notes describe the route as: complete event missions to earn Rocket Raccoon’s Trash King costume for free. It is not a normal store purchase and it is not granted simply for logging in.
The costume is tied to the All Hallows’ Glow event, which runs from October 15, 2026, at 09:00 UTC through November 13, 2026, at 09:00 UTC. The event is therefore active during that window only. Convert those times for your region rather than relying on the date shown by a local calendar. After November 13 at 09:00 UTC, the event panel may no longer accept progress or claims unless NetEase announces a change.
The patch notes confirm that missions are required, but they do not publish a universal mission count, XP threshold, or a guaranteed sequence of buttons that every account will see. Your account’s live All Hallows’ Glow panel is the authority for the current objectives and reward state.

The correct claiming process
- Update and start Marvel Rivals. Install the current game update so the Version 20261015 event content can load. An outdated client can show an old event state or fail to refresh reward data.
- Open the live event panel. From the game’s event area, select All Hallows’ Glow. Read the missions displayed for the account currently signed in. Do not use a screenshot or a guide that assumes a particular mission count; the official notes do not state one.
- Complete every required mission shown. Track the panel’s own progress indicators. A partially completed objective is not the same as a completed reward track.
- Return to the panel after each completed objective. The reward can change from locked or in progress to claimable only after the event screen refreshes.
- Use the panel’s claim control when it appears. If the event screen presents a Claim, Collect, or equivalent control, activate it there. Merely finishing a match or signing in does not prove that the reward was claimed.
- Verify Rocket Raccoon’s costume list. Open the hero customisation or costume screen for Rocket Raccoon and look for Trash King. If it is not there, continue with the account, Inbox, and platform checks below rather than repeating missions blindly.
If the panel still shows a locked mission, the issue is an unlock-state problem, not an inventory-sync problem. If it shows the reward as claimable, use the panel control before troubleshooting elsewhere. If it shows claimed but Rocket’s list is unchanged, treat it as a delivery, account, or display problem.
Use the event panel to identify your unlock state

Do not infer an exact XP number or mission total from another player’s account. The published patch notes deliberately do not provide those values, so the live panel is the only reliable place to read them.
Check that the reward belongs to the character you are using
Marvel Rivals collections are associated with the game character connected to your account. A common cause of a missing costume is completing the event on one bound character and then checking another character or account profile.

- Open Settings.
- Select Other.
- Open Account.
- Choose Account Binding.
- Confirm that the platform you use to play is linked to the intended game character.
The account-binding FAQ lists Epic, Steam, Loading Bay, PlayStation, and Xbox as supported platforms. Check the actual identifier shown in the binding screen, not only the console or launcher name. If you have more than one game character, sign out and back into the one that completed All Hallows’ Glow, then inspect the event panel and Rocket’s collection again.

Signs that you checked the wrong character
- The event panel shows no progress even though you remember completing missions.
- The panel shows a fresh mission track while another profile had a completed track.
- Other cosmetics, settings, or progression from the expected profile are also absent.
- The costume appears when you sign in through one platform but not another.
Do not unlink accounts impulsively while investigating. First record the current binding screen and the event progress. Changing links without knowing which character owns the progression can make the evidence harder to interpret and may create another account-selection problem.
Check the in-game Inbox for a delayed delivery
Marvel Rivals uses the in-game Inbox for claimed event and drop rewards. A successful claim may therefore be delivered as an Inbox message instead of appearing instantly in the costume grid.
- Open the game’s Inbox from the main interface.
- Review unread and previously opened messages for an All Hallows’ Glow or Trash King reward.
- Open the message and use its claim or collect control, if displayed.
- Return to Rocket Raccoon’s costume list after collecting it.
Marvel Rivals’ Twitch-reward guidance says Inbox emails expire after 30 days. That guidance concerns reward messages generally, so check promptly rather than leaving a delivery unopened. If there is no message, note the Inbox state for support; do not assume that an empty Inbox proves the event claim failed.
Relaunch and refresh both locations
After claiming, fully exit the game instead of only returning to the title screen. Start it again, sign in to the same bound account, and inspect both the All Hallows’ Glow panel and Rocket’s costume list. This is a practical refresh step based on the documented event-delivery and account-binding flow, not a published Trash King-specific fix.

What a complete refresh looks like
- Close Marvel Rivals through the platform’s normal quit command.
- Wait until the game is no longer running in the background.
- Start it again using the same launcher or console profile that is shown in Account Binding.
- Open All Hallows’ Glow and record whether the reward says incomplete, claimable, or claimed.
- Open Inbox and collect any pending message.
- Open Rocket Raccoon’s costume list and check for Trash King.
If the event panel changes after relaunch, use its current state as the new reference. If it remains claimed while the costume is absent, proceed to platform and third-party-link checks.
Rule out platform-exclusive display behavior
Cross-progression does not guarantee that every costume can be displayed on every platform. Marvel Rivals’ cross-progression FAQ states that platform-exclusive costumes cannot be used on other platforms and may appear there as the default costume. This can look like a missing inventory item even when the account owns the cosmetic.
How to distinguish ownership from display restriction
- Check the event panel and Inbox on the platform where the reward was claimed.
- Use the same bound account and character on that platform.
- Compare Rocket’s costume list there with the list on the other platform.
- If one platform shows Trash King and another shows Rocket’s default appearance, treat it as a platform-display limitation rather than immediately claiming the reward again.
A separate limitation applies to items redeemed through the Discord Game Shops route. That FAQ lists Steam, Epic, Loading Bay, and Xbox as supported redemption platforms and says PlayStation is unsupported for that shop route. This limitation is specific to that shop delivery path; it does not change the All Hallows’ Glow mission requirement. Do not use a shop-platform list as proof that the event itself is unavailable on your platform.

Linking a Marvel Rivals account for cross-progression does not automatically update third-party bindings such as Discord or Twitch. If a reward or notification was initiated through one of those services, verify that the service is connected to the same game character shown in Settings → Other → Account → Account Binding.

When this check matters
- You claimed or received a reward through a Discord shop flow.
- You expected a Twitch-related delivery and cannot find it in Inbox.
- The game account was linked after the third-party service had already been connected.
- Different platform profiles are connected to different game characters.
For the Trash King event itself, the primary route remains the All Hallows’ Glow event panel. Third-party links are a separate check for account identity and delivery, not a replacement for completing and claiming the event missions.

Evidence to collect before contacting support
Marvel Rivals directs unresolved in-game issues to Marvel Rivals Support through the official Discord. A concise evidence bundle helps support identify whether the failure is an unlock, account, delivery, or display problem.
- Your platform: Steam, Epic, Loading Bay, PlayStation, or Xbox.
- The game character or account identifier shown under Settings → Other → Account → Account Binding.
- A screenshot of the All Hallows’ Glow panel showing the missions and current reward state.
- A screenshot of Rocket Raccoon’s costume list where Trash King is absent or displayed as default.
- The Inbox state, including any pending or expired reward message.
- The date and approximate UTC time when you completed the final mission and attempted the claim.
- Whether the costume appears on another supported platform or account profile.
- Whether Discord or Twitch is linked, and which game character those services identify.
Post this information in the support channel rather than sharing passwords, authentication codes, or payment details. Explain the sequence in order: missions completed, panel state, claim attempted, Inbox checked, relaunch performed, and platform tested. That gives support a reproducible timeline.

Assuming mission completion equals claiming
The official wording says to complete event missions to earn the costume, but the live panel may still require an explicit collection action. Always revisit the event screen and use its claim control when shown.

Looking only in the general inventory
Rocket’s costume is a character-specific cosmetic. Open Rocket Raccoon’s own costume list and check Inbox; searching a generic item screen can miss both the character association and a pending message.
Using another player’s numbers
The patch notes do not state a universal mission count or XP threshold. Values shown by another account may reflect a different panel state, so follow the objectives currently displayed for your account.
Unlinking before documenting
Changing account bindings can obscure which character completed the event. Capture the binding and progress screens first, then ask support if a correction is needed.

Treating a default appearance as proof of lost ownership
A platform-exclusive costume may display as the default costume elsewhere. Compare platforms and confirm where the reward was claimed before repeating the event steps.
