Nintendo’s US eShop listing says the digital Nintendo Switch edition is supported on Nintendo Switch 2, with behavior consistent with Nintendo Switch. That is a compatibility statement for the Switch edition, not a separate Switch 2 edition listing. The listing gives December 1, 2025 as the release date. Does MARVEL Cosmic Invasion have co-op, and how many players?
Yes. The game supports local and online co-op, including a drop-in/drop-out system, according to the official Dotemu page. Nintendo specifies one to four players on a single system and one to four players online for its Switch listing. Nintendo Switch Online is listed as required for online play on that platform. These are Nintendo’s player-count details; consult the relevant store listing for requirements on other systems.
Nintendo’s listing includes a “Cross-platform play” tag, but the available platform details do not spell out which systems can play together. Do not assume cross-play between console families from the local- and online-co-op descriptions alone.

What is Cosmic Swap?
Cosmic Swap is the game’s tag-team mechanic: choose two heroes for a level and switch between them instantly. This lets you change fighters during a stage and combine their abilities in combat. The mechanic is described on the official game site and in Nintendo’s game listing.

What DLC is available?
Dotemu’s game page lists the Cyclops & The Thing DLC as available on all platforms for $3.99. It also schedules The Siege of Castle Doom for November 10, 2026, with Doctor Doom and The Invisible Woman as new playable characters. That date is a scheduled release, not confirmation that the DLC has already launched. Nintendo’s US listing also showed Cyclops & The Thing at $3.99 when checked; price and availability can change by storefront and date. Check the publisher’s current game page and the relevant store before buying.
