Mangalam Cement’s special window for transfer and dematerialization of qualifying physical shares is open through 4 February 2027, according to the company’s notice dated 19 February 2026. It covers shares for which the transfer deed was executed before 1 April 2019. The company’s eligibility matrix requires the original share certificate; it says both fresh and previously rejected or returned requests may qualify if that certificate is available. What the special window covers
Mangalam Cement’s notice describes a special window for transfer and dematerialization of physical shares whose transfer deed was executed before 1 April 2019. This is not a general route for every old physical certificate or any transfer made after the cutoff. The company’s eligibility matrix distinguishes applications by whether they are fresh or were previously rejected or returned, and by whether the original certificate is available.

How to prepare and submit a request
- Check the deed date and history. Confirm that the transfer deed was executed before 1 April 2019. Establish whether the request is a fresh lodgement or a re-submission of a request previously rejected or returned.
- Confirm you have the original certificate. The company’s matrix marks requests without it ineligible. Do not assume a copy will meet the stated condition.
- Ask the RTA for the current document checklist. Contact MAS Services Ltd., Mangalam Cement’s stated registrar and transfer agent, to confirm the relevant supporting documents and current submission process before dispatching originals. The notice does not enumerate every required document.
- Submit the documents within the window. The notice gives 4 February 2027 as the closing date. Verify the date and contact details with the company or RTA before sending paperwork, since notices and procedures can change.

What happens if the transfer is accepted
Any securities transferred through the window must be credited to the transferee only in demat mode. The company states that they remain under lock-in for one year from the date the transfer is registered. During that period, the shares cannot be transferred, lien-marked, or pledged. How this differs from SEBI’s 2025 re-lodgement window
The earlier SEBI window addressed a narrower situation: transfer deeds that had already been lodged before 1 April 2019 but were rejected, returned, or left unattended because of deficiencies in documents or process. It ran for six months, from 7 July 2025 through 6 January 2026. (SEBI circular dated 2 July 2025)

Mangalam Cement’s current notice is a separate window under a circular dated 30 January 2026. Its matrix includes fresh lodgements as well as previously rejected or returned requests, provided the deed predates the cutoff and the original certificate is available. The 2025 window’s expired dates do not replace the closing date stated in the company’s 2026 notice.
