For gaming, the 2.4 GHz dongle is the wireless option MSI lists for each product. Bluetooth can be useful when you want a connection without the dongle, while a cable is another option for the mouse. MSI also claims that a five-minute charge provides up to six hours in Bluetooth mode or four hours in 2.4 GHz mode. Playback over either wireless connection stops while the headset is charging. Weight and software requirement
MSI lists the headset at 280 g including the dongle. That figure does not establish how comfortable it will feel during a long session; fit is personal. For the documented Nahimic for Headset software experience, MSI requires Windows 10 or above. That requirement applies to the software experience, not to the headset’s general compatibility with the other listed devices.

What to know about the VERSA 300 WIRELESS 8K mouse
Sensor, polling, and DPI
MSI specifies a PixArt PAW3395 optical sensor and a maximum polling rate of 8000 Hz, equivalent to a 0.125 ms interval in the specification. The listed selectable DPI steps are 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400, and 26,000, with 26,000 DPI as the maximum. DPI describes sensitivity settings, while polling rate describes how often the mouse reports to the connected device; neither specification guarantees better aim or game performance. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

Weight, battery, and operating system

- Choose around your device and connection first. For the headset, check whether your platform uses the 2.4 GHz dongle, Bluetooth, or the specified 3.5 mm path. Xbox support listed by MSI is through a controller’s 3.5 mm connection.
- Prioritize features you will actually use. If you need the headset microphone, ANC, transparency mode, or onboard controls, do not plan on using its 3.5 mm wired mode for those features.
