MacStories Weekly: Issue 532 is previewed as a roundup of links, app debuts, and MacStories article and podcast recaps, with two featured stories focused on building iOS apps and dividing coding-agent work. The publicly accessible preview also points to an iOS 27 indie-app roundup, setup notes, and Apple developer news. It is a preview, not a verified complete table of contents: the member issue itself was not accessible.
What is featured in the Issue 532 preview?
MacStories’ official homepage labels the item “MacStories Weekly: Issue 532” and describes the newsletter’s usual mix of links, app debuts, and recaps. Two feature stories are highlighted:
- “Building iOS Apps with Multiple Claude Accounts, T3 Code, Cua Spaces, and pstack,” by Federico.
- “How I Split My Agent Work Between Codex and Claude Code and the Agent Apps I’m Testing,” by John.
The titles indicate an issue centered in part on app development with multiple AI-agent tools and on organizing work across coding agents. The preview does not establish the full contents of the member issue, so these should be treated as featured stories rather than a complete contents list.
Which indie apps does the issue highlight for iOS 27?
The accessible homepage also features John Voorhees’s “Our Favorite Indie Apps for iOS 27, Vol. 3.” It describes five apps for different everyday jobs. The following are the article’s descriptions and recommendations, not the results of independent comparative testing.
#1 Best Overall

Check each app’s current listing and privacy disclosures before choosing one; the feature descriptions and the reported Capture integration count may change.

Apple’s statement says: “Going forward, we will introduce additional controls to ensure that users who genuinely wish to grant an app this extraordinary level of access can only do so with very explicit user action.” MacStories’ commentary challenges Apple’s framing of the permission as mainly for backup apps, citing other kinds of apps that use it, and argues for user protection without unnecessarily reducing the Mac’s utility. That is MacStories’ criticism, not Apple’s position.
