- Record your client context. Note whether you are playing on iOS, Android or Windows PC, the country or service region selected by the client, and the client version shown on its title, login or information screen. If you use more than one device, record each one separately.
- Bring the client up to date through your platform’s normal update process. Language controls can be added, moved or removed in an update. Do not assume that a screenshot or forum post made for an earlier build still describes the current interface.
- Open the game’s available options screens. Look for a control labelled with a term such as language, text, audio, sound, voice or subtitles. These are search terms to look for, not an assertion that every label appears in Mabinogi Mobile. Check both the main title screen and the in-game pause or system screens if the client presents both.
- Change only one setting at a time. If a text-language control is present, select a language you can recognize, apply the change, and confirm whether menus, system messages and other interface text change. Keep a screenshot of the original setting so you can return to it.

Because no official source confirms separate controls, use a simple observation matrix instead of assuming that a text selector also changes speech.

Why region and client edition can change the answer
The Korean Nexon support FAQ says Mabinogi Mobile is officially serviced for Korea and cautions that access from outside Korea may be unavailable or may not provide smooth play. It also warns that abnormal access methods or circumvention can affect normal support. These statements are relevant when a player compares a Korean-service client with a client obtained or accessed elsewhere.

In practical terms, first identify the service region shown by your client before troubleshooting language controls. A missing selector may reflect a regional feature decision, a different build, or an access situation outside the service’s intended region rather than a fault with the device. If you reached the game through an unusual route, support may not be able to troubleshoot it in the same way as an officially serviced installation.

The same FAQ notes that its information reflects the game situation at the time it was written and can change after updates. Treat the support page as time- and region-specific, and ask the regional support team about the current client rather than relying on an old answer copied to a different community.
Do not use the frequently quoted “Language and Voice Settings” path
A search result may show a path written as [Menu] > [Language and Voice Settings]. The linked page is a Bandai Namco FAQ for DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE, not Mabinogi Mobile: Bandai Namco language-settings FAQ. It is therefore not evidence of a Mabinogi Mobile menu, supported language or voice feature. Copying those taps into Mabinogi Mobile can lead you to search for a screen that your client does not contain.

Troubleshooting when an option is missing or does not work
No language or audio option appears
- Confirm that you are looking at the current client and not a launcher, device settings page or a different game.
- Check both the title-screen options and any in-game system or pause options, because a control may be exposed in only one context.
- Compare your platform and service region with the information for the player or screenshot you are using as a reference.
- Capture the screen showing the available controls and include the client version when contacting support.
Text changes but voices do not
That result does not prove a fault. It may indicate that the client has no voice-language selector, that voice assets remain fixed for the region, or that the change applies only to interface text. Test a known spoken sequence after a full client restart and report the exact result to support.

- Check whether the setting requires an explicit confirmation or a return to the title screen.
- Verify that the selected voice option is available for the current region and client edition; do not assume that a visible label means the corresponding files are installed.
- Test more than one scene so that a silent or unvoiced line is not mistaken for a language change failure.
- Record the original and new selections, then send that information with screenshots to the regional support channel.
The setting returns to its previous value
- Repeat the change while connected through the normal, officially supported access method for your region.
- Look for a save, apply or confirmation prompt before leaving the screen.
- Restart once, then check whether the value persists on the same device.
- If it resets again, report the behavior rather than repeatedly changing device-wide language settings, which may not control the game.
The game will not start after changing language-related options
Return to the last known setting if the client allows it, restart the game, and use the platform’s normal repair or reinstall procedure only after preserving your account and support details. If the problem is tied to regional access, changing language or network settings may not resolve it; the regional support team is the appropriate source for a service-specific recovery path.

What to include in a support request
Support can usually investigate a language question faster when the report identifies the exact client. Include:
- Platform: iOS, Android or Windows PC.
- Service region and the country from which you are connecting.
- Client version and device model or Windows configuration.
- The screen where you expected a language, text, voice or subtitle control.
- The labels and choices that were actually visible.
- Before-and-after screenshots, with personal account information hidden.
- Whether you changed text and voice separately, whether you applied the change, and whether you restarted.
- The specific menu, message or voice sequence used to verify the result.
Ask whether the feature is supported for that regional client and whether text and voice are controlled independently. This wording avoids presuming that a control exists and gives support enough context to distinguish a missing feature from a malfunction.
