Price difference: the F70e costs less in the accessed snapshot

Display: M47 has the clearest advantage
The M47’s Super AMOLED panel has a resolution of 1080 × 2340, compared with 720 × 1600 on the F70e’s PLS LCD. Both are listed at up to 120 Hz, so the M47’s advantage here is panel type and pixel detail—not a higher stated refresh rate. Text, images and video can appear more detailed on the higher-resolution screen, while AMOLED is a meaningful difference for buyers who prefer that display technology.
The F70e’s published full-rectangle diagonal is slightly larger: 17.13 cm versus 16.91 cm for the M47. Samsung gives smaller rounded-corner measurements for each screen, so the full-rectangle figure is not the usable display area.

Performance and memory: newer listed platform, not a benchmark verdict
The F70e is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, while the M47 is listed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The comparison data also identifies LPDDR4X memory for the F70e and LPDDR5X for the M47, and lists 4 GB or 6 GB RAM configurations for the F70e against 6 GB or 8 GB for the M47. Those specifications make the M47 the more capable-looking platform on paper, but they do not establish real-world speed or gaming performance. The cited comparison does not provide an M47 benchmark result.
Cameras: M47 adds ultrawide and macro options
Both phones are listed with a 50 MP main rear camera. The F70e’s listed secondary camera is a 2 MP depth sensor; the M47 adds a 5 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro camera. That gives the M47 more shooting perspectives, especially for wider scenes and close-up subjects. Samsung’s M47 page also advertises 4K recording.

The comparison lists an 8 MP front camera on the F70e and a 12 MP one on the M47. More megapixels do not, by themselves, prove better photos: image quality also depends on the sensor, optics, processing and shooting conditions.
Battery and charging: similar listed capacity, faster M47 charging
Both phones are listed with 6,000 mAh typical capacity, so the headline capacity does not distinguish them. Samsung specifies the F70e’s rated minimum capacity as 5,830 mAh; 91mobiles lists 6,000 mAh for the M47. Capacity alone cannot establish how long either phone lasts between charges, since usage and conditions affect battery life.

91mobiles lists 25 W charging for the F70e and 45 W for the M47. Samsung says the M47 fast charger is sold separately, so factor in the cost of a compatible charger if you do not already have one. The listed wattage indicates a faster charging capability, not a guaranteed charging time.

Software support: M47 has Samsung’s explicit commitment
Samsung states that the M47 will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch date, and notes that the policy may change. 91mobiles lists six years of OS and security updates for the F70e, but the cited Samsung F70e page does not establish that commitment in the same way. Check Samsung’s current F70e support information if update duration is a deciding factor.

Which phone should you buy?
Choose the Galaxy F70e 5G if
- Keeping the upfront cost down matters more than having an AMOLED, higher-resolution screen.
- You want a large listed battery capacity and do not need the M47’s additional rear-camera options or faster listed charging.
- You are comparing current listings and find the F70e at a meaningful saving for the same RAM and storage.
Choose the Galaxy M47 5G if
- You want the sharper Super AMOLED display.
- You value the listed ultrawide and macro cameras alongside the main camera.
- Faster listed charging, higher listed RAM options, or Samsung’s stated software-support commitment matter enough to justify its price.
On specifications, the M47 offers the more complete package; the F70e’s case is primarily value. Whether the M47’s display, charging and camera differences are worth the price gap depends on current like-for-like prices and which features you will use.
