The Lowe’s card can offer 5% off eligible purchases or promotional financing, but you generally have to choose between them. Lowe’s currently calls it the MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card; the familiar “Advantage Card” wording in this topic is not the name used on the current offer page. The advertised benefits are tied to Lowe’s purchases, not general-purpose rewards.
What card is Lowe’s offering?
Lowe’s current consumer-facing offer page uses the name MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card. Its listed benefits focus on purchases at Lowe’s: an eligible-purchase discount and various promotional financing offers. The offer page is not an individualized approval offer or a substitute for the account agreement that governs an existing cardholder.
How does the 5% Off Every Day offer work?
Lowe’s advertises 5% off eligible purchases or orders charged to the card in U.S. stores and on Lowes.com. The discount is applied after other applicable discounts; taxes are still payable. The official offer terms contain exclusions, and Lowe’s may change the offer.

Lowe’s says the 5% discount cannot be combined with special financing or other credit-related promotional offers. In practice, an eligible purchase may require a choice: take the discount or use an available financing promotion. Do not count on receiving both.
What does 6 Months Special Financing mean?
Lowe’s lists six-month special financing for qualifying purchases of at least $299. This is deferred interest, not a promise of interest-free borrowing regardless of repayment. - Payments associated with a promotional balance may be applied to other account balances.
- To avoid deferred interest under the offer, the promotional purchase must be paid in full by the deadline.
Track the promotional balance and due date separately from the minimum payment shown on the account. A payment that keeps the account current does not necessarily clear the promotional purchase in time.
What other financing promotions are listed?
The official offer page also lists 12-month financing for specified installed flooring, appliances, and HVAC purchases, along with fixed-payment options for certain larger purchases. These offers are promotional and can change; eligibility, purchase thresholds, and repayment terms depend on the specific offer. Review the current terms for the item and purchase before choosing financing.

Should you take the discount or financing?
The offers cannot be combined, so compare them based on your purchase and repayment plan rather than treating them as cumulative benefits.
- Check eligibility: Confirm the item, service, and transaction qualify for the discount or the particular financing offer.
- Check the financing threshold and term: For the listed six-month offer, the qualifying purchase must be at least $299. Other promotions have their own conditions.
- Assess whether you can clear the balance: If you choose deferred-interest financing, plan to pay the promotional purchase in full before its deadline, not merely make minimum payments.
- Consider the applicable APR: A remaining balance can trigger interest from the purchase date under the six-month offer. The account’s regular APR also matters for borrowing outside a promotion.
The discount is an immediate reduction on eligible purchases. Financing may help spread payments, but the deferred-interest terms make repayment timing important. Neither option is automatically better for every purchase.

What APR and interest charges does Lowe’s list?
For new accounts, Lowe’s lists a 31.99% purchase APR, a 36.99% penalty APR, and a $2 minimum interest charge. These are the figures on Lowe’s credit-center page; an applicant’s or existing cardholder’s applicable terms may differ. Existing cardholders should use their own card agreement for the rates and terms that apply to their account.

What should you verify before applying or buying?
- Whether Lowe’s still offers the promotion and whether your purchase qualifies.
- Which exclusions apply to the product, service, or transaction.
- Whether the discount and financing are mutually exclusive for the offer you intend to use.
- The full account agreement for APRs, fees, payment allocation, and other terms relevant to your account.
