The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX is a 60 g wireless gaming mouse with a larger, asymmetric shape made for right-handed use. Its main advantage over the standard PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 is that more supportive shape—not a documented sensor or performance upgrade. Choose the DEX if its contour fits your hand and grip; choose a symmetric mouse if you want a more neutral shape or left-hand-friendly design.
What are the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX’s main pros and cons?

The practical decision is about shape. RTINGS describes the DEX and standard Superlight 2 as having virtually identical performance, while the DEX is larger and ergonomically shaped for right-handed use.
What does the DEX offer?
Logitech lists a HERO 2 sensor, LIGHTSPEED wireless, LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches, and a weight of 60 g. Its product page specifies tracking sensitivity up to 44,000 DPI and battery life of up to 95 hours. These are manufacturer specifications, not evidence that every player will aim better or achieve those figures in typical use. The battery claim is a maximum; settings and use can affect runtime.
In its September 17, 2024 announcement, Logitech said HERO 2 tracks above 888 inches per second and 88G, and that LIGHTSPEED supports up to 8 kHz polling. The announcement also says the design was developed with feedback from professional Counter-Strike and Valorant players. That describes Logitech’s development process; it does not establish that the shape will fit every player.

- Play Longer: Get up to 95 hours of battery life on a single charge; quickly recharge using the included USB-A to USB-C cable, or experience non-stop play with POWERPLAY (2)
LIGHTFORCE combines optical sensing with a mechanical component, according to Logitech. GamesRadar lists five buttons and wired or 2.4 GHz wireless connections; it does not list Bluetooth.
How does the DEX differ from the standard Superlight 2?
| Factor | PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX | PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Shape | Larger, asymmetric, right-handed design. | Symmetric design. |
| Grip support | RTINGS describes a medium-sized hump and fairly wide back, offering more support for some palm and claw grips. | The symmetric shape is the alternative if you prefer a more neutral form; the cited comparison does not establish a universal grip advantage. |
| Weight and performance | 60 g per Logitech; RTINGS says performance is virtually identical to the standard model. | RTINGS says the models weigh nearly the same and perform virtually identically. |
| Bluetooth | Not listed by GamesRadar. | Not stated in the cited comparison sources. |
RTINGS identifies shape as the key distinction, so there is no evidence-based reason to choose the DEX for a faster or more accurate sensor than its sibling. Current prices are not established here, so compare the prices available to you rather than assuming one model costs more.

Is the DEX good for palm grip or claw grip?
It may be a better fit for palm or claw grip if you want a larger right-handed mouse with more support at the back of the hand. RTINGS describes its medium-sized hump and fairly wide back as supportive for those grips. That is a shape assessment, not a guarantee: hand size, grip style, and personal preference affect fit.
If you use your left hand, prefer a symmetric shape, or find larger ergonomic mice uncomfortable, the DEX’s defining feature is also its main drawback. Consider the standard symmetric model or another shape that better matches your hand rather than assuming an ergonomic design is automatically more comfortable.

Does the DEX have Bluetooth, and how long does its battery last?
GamesRadar lists 2.4 GHz and wired connections, but no Bluetooth. If you need Bluetooth pairing or want to switch easily among devices over Bluetooth, this is a meaningful limitation.
Logitech advertises up to 95 hours of battery life. Treat that as a stated maximum, not a typical-use promise; the available sources do not establish one runtime that applies across polling rates and usage patterns.

Who should choose the DEX?
- Consider it if you want a lightweight mouse, use your right hand, and prefer a larger asymmetric shape that may support palm or claw grip.
- Look elsewhere if you need Bluetooth, use your left hand, or want a symmetric form.
- Choose between the DEX and standard Superlight 2 by shape, not an assumed performance gap: RTINGS reports virtually identical performance and nearly identical weight.
