The LG NeoChef MS2336DB is a 23L countertop microwave with a listed maximum output of 1000W, five power levels, touch controls and a 292mm glass turntable. Its preset functions cover defrosting, softening, melting, proofing and keeping food warm. LG’s published specifications describe the product, but do not establish independent cooking performance; check the dimensions and warranty for your country before buying.
What does the LG NeoChef MS2336DB offer?
LG Australia identifies the MS2336DB as a 23L Smart Inverter microwave in a black finish, with a tinted glass door, side-swing opening, touch controls, LED display and LED interior lighting. The cavity has an EasyClean interior coating, and the appliance includes a glass turntable. LG Australia’s product page and its specification sheet provide the model details.
LG describes Smart Inverter as supporting more even heating and defrosting. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independently verified result here: the available specifications do not include comparative cooking tests or temperature-distribution measurements.
How powerful is the MS2336DB?
LG Australia’s 2018 specification sheet lists maximum microwave output at 1000W and five selectable levels: 1000W, 800W, 600W, 400W and 200W. The levels let you reduce output for tasks that call for gentler heating, rather than using the maximum setting for everything.

LG lists a 292mm-diameter glass turntable. That measurement is useful when considering the size of dishes that might fit, but it does not establish the usable dimensions of the cavity; check your cookware against the appliance and manual before use.
What preset cooking functions are included?
LG Australia lists inverter defrost for meat, poultry, fish and bread; soften settings for butter, cream cheese and ice cream; and melt settings for butter, cheese and chocolate. Other listed functions include proofing, keep warm, reheat presets and popular-menu cooking. The specification sheet lists eight popular-menu selections.

Preset names and menu presentation differ across regional LG materials. Consult the manual for the market where your unit was sold for the exact menu choices and operating instructions; do not assume every regional variant presents the same presets. LG’s EasyClean description is also a product claim, not an independent cleaning test.

LG’s Australia specification sheet and New Zealand product page give dimensions of 476mm wide × 370mm deep × 272mm high and a weight of 9kg. LG Australia’s product summary instead gives a height of 270mm, while its detailed specifications give 272mm. If a tight space makes a 2mm difference important, confirm the dimensions for the exact local product and allow for the clearances required by its installation instructions.

The Australian specification sheet identifies the documented product with EAN 8806098204625. Use the label on the appliance and the local listing to confirm that a similarly named regional version is the same model before relying on these figures.
What warranty does the MS2336DB have?
Warranty coverage depends on the sales market. LG Australia’s specification sheet, marked V1 – 04/18, lists two years of parts and labour, followed by eight additional years of parts-only coverage for the Smart Inverter magnetron. LG New Zealand lists 24 months of parts and labour plus a domestic-use magnetron parts exception, and warns that coverage can vary by model and year. These terms should not be treated as a global warranty; check the terms applying to your model, serial number and place of purchase. Its listed capacity, output and presets make the MS2336DB a straightforward option to consider if you want a countertop microwave with dedicated settings beyond basic heating. Before deciding, match the 476 × 370 × 272mm detailed specification to your available counter space, check the door’s side-swing clearance, and compare the turntable and preset functions with the cookware and meals you use.
