The LG CordZero A9T-MAX pairs a cordless stick vacuum with a tower that charges it, stores accessories and automatically empties its bin. Its strongest case is convenience; the trade-offs are a substantial tower, runtime that drops sharply in higher-power modes, and bundles that differ by country. LG publishes detailed specifications, but accessible independent results do not establish how well it cleans carpets, hard floors or pet hair.
What comes with the LG CordZero A9T-MAX?
LG Australia describes the A9T-MAX as a Forest Green cordless handstick vacuum with a separate All-In-One Tower. The vacuum weighs 2.6 kg and the tower weighs 10.1 kg. The vacuum has a 0.44 L bin, which LG says expands to 1.056 L when compressed using Kompressor technology; the tower takes a 2.5 L dust bag. Australian configuration
LG Australia lists a Multi-Surface Power Drive nozzle, Power Drive Mini nozzle, Power Drive Hot Mop nozzle, wide slim nozzle with LED lighting, and four mop pads. The listed accessories also include a water-tank measuring cup, combination tool, cleaning brush and crevice tool.
New Zealand configuration
LG New Zealand lists a universal multi-surface nozzle and a pet nozzle instead. Its page marks the mop nozzle absent, although it lists four mop pads. The A9T-MAX name alone therefore does not guarantee a particular head or a hot-mop setup. Check the exact regional product listing and the contents of the box before buying. How useful is the All-In-One Tower?
The tower combines charging, automatic bin emptying and accessory storage, so the vacuum can be returned to one station instead of being stored with loose attachments. LG specifies selectable automatic or manual emptying, a dust-bag replacement-cycle indicator and three-step tower filtration. Those features may make routine storage and emptying more convenient, but the listed specifications do not establish how much dust escapes during emptying or how frequently a household will need to change the bag.
There is a physical trade-off: the tower itself weighs 10.1 kg. The available specification gives its weight but not dimensions, so it does not support a precise floor-space estimate. Treat it as a sizeable dedicated station and check the space and clearance where you plan to place it.

How long does the battery last?
LG Australia lists two batteries, each with a 240-minute charge time. Its runtime figures are maximums per battery, and the difference between using a nozzle and using no nozzle matters as much as the selected mode:

These are LG’s published maximums, not a promise of time in a typical cleaning session; settings and attachments affect actual runtime. For a realistic estimate, use the figure for the mode and nozzle you expect to use, rather than relying on the 60-minute Normal-mode figure without a nozzle. Two included batteries provide a second battery to use, but each still takes four hours to charge according to LG.

What do the cleaning specifications establish?
LG lists 220 W maximum suction power for the Australian model, a Smart Inverter Motor, an Axial Turbo Cyclone, five-step filtration and a filter-cleaning cycle indicator. These describe the design and advertised features; they do not independently demonstrate pickup on hard floors, carpet, edges or in a car, nor do they establish filtration performance or long-term reliability.

Is the A9T-MAX worth the price?
That depends on whether the tower and the bundle supplied in your country solve problems you actually have. The station’s charging, storage and automatic emptying may suit someone who wants a tidy home for the vacuum and less direct contact with its bin. Conversely, the tower takes dedicated space, while the best-supported runtime expectations depend on how often you use Power or Turbo and which nozzle is attached. The Australian hot-mop bundle should not be assumed to come with the New Zealand version.
CHOICE’s page lists the model at A$1,499, but that is a page-listed figure rather than a verified current retailer price. Check the current price in your market and compare like-for-like regional bundles. For a meaningful comparison with another cordless stick, prioritize independently tested pickup on your floors, pet-hair results if relevant, runtime with the head and mode you use, battery count and recharge time, bag upkeep, station footprint, included regional attachments, warranty and the availability of compatible consumables.
