The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition (14IPH11) is a particularly light 14-inch Windows laptop: Lenovo lists a 975 g (2.15 lb) starting weight and a 2.8K, 120 Hz OLED touchscreen. That combination makes it appealing for frequent travel, office work and display-focused everyday use. Its three Thunderbolt 4 ports, configuration-dependent pricing and reviewer-reported fan noise under heavier workloads matter just as much as its portability.

What the 14IPH11 offers

Lenovo announced the 14-inch, Gen 11 Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition at CES 2026. Its advertised starting weight is 975 g (2.15 lb), and Lenovo classifies it as a Copilot+ PC. The official announcement describes a 14-inch 2.8K PureSight Pro POLED display, up to 1100 nits peak HDR brightness, integrated Intel Arc graphics and processor options up to Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3. Those are manufacturer claims and platform capabilities, not guarantees that every retail configuration includes the top processor or achieves the advertised brightness in every display mode. Lenovo’s CES 2026 announcement

The Lenovo PSREF datasheet describes the broader platform. It lists a 2880 × 1800 OLED touchscreen with 120 Hz variable refresh rate, a 75 Wh battery, a 5 MP infrared webcam, four speakers with Dolby Atmos, and PCIe Gen 4 M.2 storage. These are platform specifications; exact features and combinations depend on the market and SKU. Lenovo PSREF platform datasheet

Which processor, memory and storage can you get?

Lenovo’s platform documentation lists several processor tiers, but it does not mean all will be sold in every country. Windows Central’s May 2026 review noted that its US sample used the Core Ultra 7 355 and that UK buyers had a broader processor choice at the time. Check the precise regional listing rather than assuming a processor shown in the datasheet is available to order locally.

#1 Best Overall
Component Options described by Lenovo What to verify
Processor Core Ultra 5 325, Core Ultra 7 355, Core Ultra X7 358H, or Core Ultra X9 388H Availability varies by region and SKU. Windows Central’s US review sample used the Ultra 7 355; its May 2026 review said UK processor options were broader. Windows Central, May 2026
Graphics Integrated graphics, up to Intel Arc B390 in the PSREF platform description Graphics capability is tied to the selected processor and configuration; do not assume every SKU has the highest listed option. Lenovo PSREF platform datasheet
Memory 32 GB or 64 GB LPDDR5X, with speeds listed by configuration Confirm the exact capacity and specification on the local SKU page. The reviewed Windows Central sample had 32 GB LPDDR5X-7467. Windows Central, May 2026
Storage 1 TB or 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSD Confirm the installed capacity for the listing you plan to buy; the Windows Central sample had 1 TB. Lenovo PSREF platform datasheet

The platform documents list the memory and storage choices but do not establish upgradeability for every retail configuration. If you need a particular capacity for the life of the laptop, verify the exact model’s service and configuration details before purchase.

How good is the OLED screen?

Tom’s Guide measured 476 nits in SDR and 630 nits in HDR on its review sample. It also reported 170.3% sRGB coverage, 120.6% DCI-P3 and a Delta-E result of 0.28. These are that publication’s measurements under its test conditions, not guaranteed results for every unit or a substitute for calibrating a screen for color-critical work. Tom’s Guide review and test results

The 2.8K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate suit sharp text, smooth scrolling and visually rich media. OLED can be an especially attractive choice for movies and image work, while a glossy touchscreen may reflect bright surroundings; consider where you will work and whether reflections would distract you. The 1100-nit peak HDR figure is Lenovo’s advertised specification, whereas Tom’s Guide’s lower measured SDR and HDR results describe its own sample and test method.

How long does the battery last?

Tom’s Guide recorded 16 hours and 39 minutes in its continuous Wi-Fi web-browsing test at 150 nits on a configuration with a Core Ultra 7 355, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. That is a useful independent result for that sample and workload, not a promise of the same runtime for every owner. Video calls, screen brightness, wireless use, applications and workload can change real-world endurance. Tom’s Guide review and test results

Lenovo’s PSREF separately advertises up to 27 hours of local 1080p video playback and up to 19 hours in MobileMark at 250 nits. Those manufacturer estimates use different methods from Tom’s Guide’s web-browsing test, so the numbers are not directly comparable. Treat them as distinct scenarios rather than a single expected battery-life figure. Lenovo PSREF battery estimates

Are the ports enough, or will you need a hub?

Tom’s Guide reports three Thunderbolt 4 ports on its tested laptop. That gives you high-speed USB-C connectivity, but the review notes that the laptop lacks built-in HDMI, USB-A and a card reader. If your monitor, storage devices or memory cards rely on those connections, plan for a compatible USB-C hub or dock and check its specifications for the ports and display support you need. How does it handle editing, gaming and demanding work?

Tom’s Guide’s reviewer found the laptop comfortable for multitasking, photo editing and basic video editing, but reported conspicuous fan noise during heavier video editing or gaming. Those observations apply to the reviewer’s tested configuration, not every workload or unit. The integrated-graphics design and reported cooling behavior make this a more natural fit for light-to-moderate creative work than for sustained heavy graphics tasks. Buyers whose work depends on long, demanding renders or intensive gaming should compare systems designed for higher sustained performance, rather than choosing on weight alone.

What does it cost, and is it worth the price?

There is no single price in the available coverage that should be treated as a current universal quote. Lenovo’s CES 2026 announcement estimated a US starting price of $1,499.99 and expected availability in Q2 2026. Windows Central reported a configured US storefront price of $1,889.99 in its May 2026 review, while Tom’s Guide describes a $1,629 base-model price in one passage and lists $1,889 in its specifications. These are launch and review-period figures with differing configurations and snapshots, not a reliable current price for every market. Lenovo CES 2026 announcement; Windows Central, May 2026; Tom’s Guide review

Lenovo’s US product page displayed an “available soon” message in a page-status snapshot, despite later reviews describing tested products. That page message is not proof of market-wide availability. Check Lenovo or an authorized seller in your region for current stock, configuration and warranty terms. Lenovo US product page

At a price that fits your budget, the laptop’s value depends on whether extreme lightness and a high-resolution OLED touchscreen are priorities. It is a stronger match for travel, office use and moderate creative work than for buyers who need many built-in ports or sustained heavy graphics performance. Compare the exact regional SKU, memory and storage, included support, and the cost of any hub or dock you need before deciding. The reviewed coverage also tested an Apple MacBook Air M5: Tom’s Guide measured 15 hours 28 minutes for it using its own battery methodology and reported stronger Apple M5 benchmark results. That is context from one review, not an overall performance ranking that can be generalized across configurations. Tom’s Guide review

Who should buy the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition?

  • Good fit: Frequent travelers and commuters who value a very light 14-inch laptop, plus office users who want a sharp OLED touchscreen for multitasking, browsing and media.
  • Possible fit: Photographers and people doing basic video edits, provided the chosen processor and memory suit their projects and they accept the reported fan noise under heavier loads.
  • Look elsewhere if: You routinely need built-in HDMI, USB-A or card-reader connectivity, or your regular work involves sustained demanding graphics workloads or gaming.
