Lenovo’s Yoga Mini replaces the usual box-shaped mini PC with a 130 mm-wide circular design less than 5 cm tall. Its touch-sensitive top, configurable lighting, built-in microphones and fingerprint-reader power button make the enclosure part of the desktop experience—not just a smaller case. The reviewed model pairs that unusual design with a broad selection of ports, but its fixed 16 GB of memory and premium review price are important trade-offs.
What the Lenovo Yoga Mini is—and what makes its shape different
The Yoga Mini is a compact Windows desktop PC, not a laptop or an all-in-one computer. Computeractive’s review describes a circular unit measuring 48 × 130 × 130 mm: 130 mm across and under 5 cm tall. The compact puck-shaped case is the defining feature, but Lenovo also uses its surfaces for controls and ambient feedback.
The top is touch-sensitive and can be customized. In the reviewed configuration, a tap can switch off the ambient lighting, while a double tap launches Lenovo Voice Mode. Lighting underneath can be configured to react to music or use a selected color to indicate notifications. The review also identifies two microphones at the front and a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button.

They do not, by themselves, establish that the PC has a particular AI performance level or that every feature works the same way in every regional configuration.

What hardware and connections are in the reviewed model?
Computeractive Issue 745, dated 23 September–6 October 2026, lists the following configuration. Specifications apply to the reviewed unit and should not be assumed to describe every Yoga Mini SKU or region.
| Component | Reviewed configuration |
|---|---|
| Processor | Eight-core Intel Core Ultra 5 325 |
| Memory | 16 GB DDR5 RAM, soldered |
| Graphics | Intel Graphics |
| Storage | 1 TB SSD |
| Wireless | Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 |

The port selection gives the small PC several practical ways to connect displays and peripherals, including wired Ethernet. The review lists two Thunderbolt 4 ports, but does not establish compatibility with any particular dock or display setup; check the requirements of your accessories before choosing one.

The same review says the Yoga Mini did not match the Apple Mac mini M4 or Geekom IT13 Max in its performance tests, though it was a little faster than the GMKtec NucBox K17. Those are the publication’s reported comparisons; Computeractive’s review does not provide benchmark figures or enough detail to make them a standardized, numerical ranking.
Rank #3

Intel Graphics is not suited to serious gaming, according to the review. The available evidence therefore supports the Yoga Mini as a compact general-purpose desktop for work and lighter creative tasks, not as a gaming-focused PC.
Can you upgrade the Yoga Mini?
Storage: replaceable, but access takes a tool
The review says the 1 TB SSD can be replaced after removing the top, which requires a suction removal tool. It does not state the SSD’s physical size or interface. Confirm those details and compatibility before buying a replacement drive.

Memory: fixed at 16 GB
The reviewed model’s 16 GB of RAM is soldered and cannot be upgraded. Buyers who expect to need more memory later should treat that as a lasting limitation rather than a simple service task.
What does it cost, and is the design worth the trade-offs?
Computeractive listed a UK publication price of £930 in Issue 745, dated 23 September–6 October 2026. That is a dated magazine price, not confirmation of current pricing, stock or an Amazon listing. The review’s verdict notes that the Yoga Mini costs more than rivals with similar performance.
The case and built-in controls are most compelling if you value a distinctive, space-saving desktop with accessible wired connections, fingerprint sign-in and integrated microphones. The case matters less if your priority is maximum performance or upgrade flexibility: the reviewed system has soldered memory, its storage access needs a suction tool, and the review does not find it competitive with the named faster systems in its performance tests.
What was shown before the reviewed product?
An APC report from CES 2026 described an earlier show-floor version as a 0.65-litre mini PC with sensors, microphones, speakers, a bottom light bar and an expected removable top. That is early concept-era reporting, not a substitute for the later review’s account of the tested configuration. The APC report also treated an emotion-detection claim skeptically; it does not establish a confirmed Yoga Mini feature, so it should not be taken as evidence of one.
