The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Gen 11 is a Windows 11 laptop family rather than one fixed specification. Lenovo markets the Intel models as the IdeaPad Slim 3i Gen 11, with different 15-, 16- and 17-inch designs, processors, displays, memory layouts, batteries and prices. The exact model number matters more than the family name.
For school, office work, browsing and video calls, a well-equipped configuration is a sensible productivity laptop. It is not positioned as a gaming or professional 3D workstation, and published battery and benchmark results apply only to the specific configurations tested.
What the IdeaPad Slim 3i Gen 11 is
Lenovo’s Intel Gen 11 range includes several regional model numbers and screen sizes. The 16-inch platform is documented as the 16IPH11 and can be configured as a Copilot+ PC with Intel Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7 processors, Windows 11 Home, integrated Intel graphics and an NPU rated up to 49 TOPS. Lenovo also announced a 17-inch IdeaPad Slim 3i Gen 11 at MWC 2026, with availability expected in June 2026 and an estimated starting price of €799. That was a launch estimate, not a universal retail price.
Because retailers can use the same family name for substantially different hardware, compare the full model number, processor, screen and memory before buying.

The 50Wh battery, 1.68kg starting weight, 400-nit panel and 16GB/512GB combination above belong specifically to model 83US006DMB. Other Gen 11 SKUs use different batteries, screens and component combinations.
15.3-inch configuration tested by Tom’s Guide
Tom’s Guide reviewed a different 15-inch-class configuration with an Intel Core 7 350 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Its 2026 testing recorded 2,669 points in Geekbench 6 single-core and 7,827 points in multi-core, plus 10 hours 33 minutes in its web-browsing battery test. Those are results for the reviewed 15.3-inch laptop, not guaranteed family-wide figures. The review also identifies a 1920×1200 120Hz touchscreen, demonstrating how much the display can change between models.

Processor, Copilot+ features and everyday speed
Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 Series 3 options provide the main performance split on the 16-inch platform. The NPU is intended for supported on-device AI workloads, and Lenovo classifies eligible systems as Copilot+ PCs. Copilot+ status depends on the installed processor and the complete configuration, so check the retailer’s specification for the exact model rather than assuming every Slim 3 Gen 11 qualifies.
The independent Core 7 350 results indicate adequate performance for documents, large browser sessions, online meetings, coding coursework and general multitasking. Integrated graphics are appropriate for productivity and light creative work, but the available evidence does not establish high-end gaming, professional 3D or graphics-intensive workstation performance.

Memory and SSD choices
Memory arrangements vary: some models use soldered RAM, some provide a socket, and some combine both. The 16-inch platform lists up to 24GB of DDR5-5600 in supported configurations. Confirm whether a particular SKU has an accessible SODIMM slot before planning an upgrade.
PSREF documentation lists two M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD slots on the 16-inch platform. The 83US006DMB includes a 512GB NVMe drive. Slot availability, factory population and service access can differ by regional model, so use the model number when selecting a replacement or second SSD.

Display differences to check before purchase
Resolution alone does not identify the panel. A documented 16-inch 83US006DMB has a 1920×1200, 400-nit, 60Hz, anti-glare IPS display with no touch or pen input. Tom’s Guide’s separate 15.3-inch review used a 1920×1200 120Hz touchscreen. The latter should not be treated as a specification of every 15- or 16-inch Slim 3i.
- For reading and office work: prioritize the 16:10 1920×1200 resolution and brightness listed for the exact SKU.
- For scrolling and touch interaction: verify both the 120Hz refresh rate and touchscreen listing; neither is universal.
- For pen work: the 83US006DMB panel does not support a pen.
Battery, portability and external displays
The 83US006DMB starts at 1.68kg and has a 50Wh battery. Battery capacity and weight differ across the family. The 10-hour-33-minute web-browsing result from Tom’s Guide is useful context for its tested 15.3-inch configuration, but screen brightness, processor, battery size, software and test method mean it cannot predict every SKU’s runtime.

Lenovo’s platform documentation supports up to three independent displays. It specifies HDMI output up to 4K at 30Hz and USB-C output up to 4K at 60Hz. The practical result depends on the exact port layout and adapter or dock, so check the individual port list before purchasing a USB-C hub or monitor.

Students and general users
Choose at least 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD if the price difference is reasonable. A 1920×1200 anti-glare display is a useful baseline for split-screen coursework, and a lighter 15-inch model may be preferable if daily carrying matters more than screen area.
Office and multitasking users
Favor a Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7 configuration with 16GB or more memory, a 512GB or larger SSD and the ports needed for your monitor. If you use AI features, confirm Copilot+ eligibility and the NPU specification on the listing.

Large-screen buyers
The 16-inch models provide more workspace while remaining below 2kg in the documented 83US006DMB configuration. The announced 17-inch model may suit desk-based use, but its €799 figure was an estimated European starting price for June 2026 availability and should not be treated as a current price in every country.
How to compare two listings
- Copy each listing’s complete model number, such as 83US006DMB.
- Compare the processor name and whether the system is identified as a Copilot+ PC.
- Check screen size, 1920×1200 resolution, refresh rate, brightness, touch and pen support separately.
- Confirm RAM capacity and whether it is soldered, socketed or mixed; note the platform maximum only when it applies to that SKU.
- Check SSD capacity, M.2 size and the number of populated or available slots.
- Compare battery watt-hours, starting weight, port layout and external-display limits.
- Verify warranty coverage and the current regional price on the date you buy.
Price and availability context
Tom’s Guide described its reviewed 15-inch model as $1,299 at full price and commonly $799–$999 on sale. Lenovo’s MWC 2026 announcement gave the 17-inch model an estimated starting price of €799. These figures are regional, configuration-specific and volatile; record the checked date and model number when making a purchase decision. The 16-inch 83US006DMB price is not established in the available specifications.
