The new LEGO Marvel The Marvel Skyline (set 67006) packs a sprawling mix of Marvel landmarks into a 1,261-piece microscale display—and includes a tiny helicopter near the Daily Bugle that fans are already calling the Thanos Copter. That nickname is a fun, plausible reading of the model, not an identification confirmed in LEGO’s written product description.
What is The Marvel Skyline?
Set 67006 is an 18+ microscale build designed for display at home or in an office. LEGO’s US product listing gives its finished dimensions as more than 21 cm high, 40 cm wide and 11 cm deep (over 8 × 15.5 × 4.5 inches). The width is worth checking against your shelf before ordering: this is a broad cityscape, not a small single-building model.
The skyline combines locations from different corners of Marvel rather than recreating one film, comic, or neighborhood. LEGO names these buildings and places in its product description:
- Avengers Tower and the Daily Bugle
- Baxter Building and X-Men Mansion
- Wakandan Embassy
- Rand Enterprises Building and Pym Laboratories
- Hammer Industries and Roxxon Corporation
- Oscorp Industries and Fisk Tower
The set also includes a Galactus minifigure, Spider-Man and Human Torch trophy figures, and named vehicles such as the X-Jet, Fantastic Four Rocket Ship, and Spider-Mobile. LEGO says there are other vehicles, too, without naming every one.

Why fans are spotting the Thanos Copter
A small helicopter near the Daily Bugle has caught fans’ attention because it resembles the famously absurd Thanos Copter. On Brickset’s October 8, 2026 reveal page, one reader asked, “Haha, is that yellow helicopter near the Daily Bugle the infamous Thanos-copter?” Another called it “such a funny touch.” Those are fan interpretations in reader comments, not official confirmation of the vehicle’s identity.
That distinction matters: LEGO’s written listing mentions other vehicles but does not call out the helicopter or label it the Thanos Copter. “An apparent Thanos Copter nod” is the safest description. The joke works even without an official name, because the helicopter is exactly the sort of deep-cut detail that rewards a closer look at the skyline.

What to consider before buying
The strongest fit is for someone who wants a wide Marvel display piece and enjoys spotting architecture, character references, and small vehicles across a shared skyline. The included figures and the possible Thanos Copter nod may add appeal, but the helicopter’s identity is not confirmed by LEGO.
- Measure the display spot: the listed width is over 40 cm, with a depth of over 11 cm.
- Consider the format: the set is microscale, so it emphasizes a dense cityscape rather than a large, detailed version of one building.
- Decide what matters to you: the price may feel more compelling if the collection of locations and character references is the main draw; someone seeking a particular named building or character should check the listed contents carefully.
- Use the app if useful: LEGO says the build supports LEGO Builder app Build Together mode.
Brick Fanatics reported that the set was displayed at the Marvel booth at New York Comic Con 2026 in a case that did not appear to permit hands-on access. That is event-display reporting, not a hands-on review, so it does not establish how the build experience compares with other sets.
