Neither Lattice nor Betterworks is a universal winner. Betterworks may fit teams prioritizing continuous performance workflows and its listed talent-intelligence capabilities; Lattice may fit teams seeking modular options across performance, goals, engagement, and manager tools. Treat those as starting hypotheses, not proof of superiority: compare the exact modules, workflows, services, and total contracted cost you would use.

What Lattice and Betterworks have in common

Both platforms address organizational performance management, with overlap around goals or OKRs, feedback, and manager conversations. Their product descriptions emphasize different packaging and capabilities, but vendor feature pages do not establish how well either product will work for a particular organization.

Betterworks presents performance as a connected workflow that includes goals, feedback, conversations, and 1:1 meetings. Lattice offers performance and goals as distinct modules, alongside engagement and manager tools. The distinction matters when you compare a real quote: make sure the same workflows and user groups are included on both sides.

How their performance and talent workflows differ

Betterworks

Betterworks’ Performance plan lists Goals & OKRs, feedback, conversations, and 1:1 meetings. Its Performance + Talent Intelligence tier adds capabilities described by the vendor as anytime calibration, succession and talent mobility, skills intelligence, talent profiles, and development plans. See the Betterworks plans and pricing page for the plan descriptions.

  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Lattice

Lattice’s Performance product lists calibration, succession planning, promotions, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and talent reviews. Goals & OKRs is offered as a separate module, and Manager Tools are included with specified products. Its pricing page describes the available packages, while its performance and goals pages provide product details.

Do not decide on feature names alone. Ask each vendor to demonstrate your review cadence, goal-update process, feedback exchange, calibration meeting, and talent decision in the proposed configuration. Confirm which roles can see or change each item, and whether the relevant capabilities are included in the quoted package.

Public pricing: useful starting points, not comparable quotes

The vendors’ official pricing pages reviewed on October 7, 2026, displayed the following prices. They are vendor-published page prices, not negotiated quotes or independently validated bills; pricing and package scope can change.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
Vendor and plan Displayed price Important qualification
Betterworks Performance $8 per user per month Published price on the reviewed Betterworks plans page; verify included scope in the quote.
Betterworks Performance + Talent Intelligence $9 per user per month Published price on the reviewed Betterworks plans page; implementation is a separate one-time cost.
Betterworks Enterprise Custom The vendor says price depends on workforce size, selected products, implementation, integrations, support, organizational needs, and deployment requirements.
Lattice Performance $10 per seat per month Published price on the reviewed Lattice pricing page; contracts are billed annually.
Lattice Goals & OKRs $8 per seat per month Published price on the reviewed Lattice pricing page; confirm the configuration and any additional modules required.
Lattice Foundations $13 per seat per month Published price on the reviewed Lattice pricing page; confirm the included products and scope.
Lattice Enterprise Custom The reviewed page states a $4,000 minimum annual agreement and annual billing.

These figures do not establish which platform costs less for your needs. Betterworks lists per-user prices and a separate one-time implementation cost; Lattice lists per-seat module and bundle prices, annual billing, and a minimum annual agreement. A valid comparison needs the same seat count, contract term, modules, support level, implementation services, and add-ons in writing.

  • What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.

Integrations, implementation, and support need a closer check

Both vendors describe integrations. Betterworks also describes professional services, and its pricing page identifies implementation as an additional one-time cost. Lattice says performance-management implementation and change-management services have no additional cost on its pricing page. Those statements describe vendor offerings; confirm what is included in the agreement and what work your team must provide.

  • Ask each vendor to name the specific HRIS, identity, collaboration, and data integrations required for your environment.
  • Have the demo show the data flow, sync direction and frequency, field mapping, and what happens when records change or fail to sync.
  • Confirm deployment responsibilities, timeline assumptions, administrator training, support scope, and any fees in the written proposal.
  • Use governance and flexibility as questions for the demo, not conclusions from marketing language. Betterworks’ 2026 buyer’s guide frames selection around flexibility versus governance and enablement versus standardization; it is vendor-authored, not independent evidence of comparative performance. The guide is available at Betterworks’ Enterprise Buyer’s Guide.

Use a scenario-based demo to make the decision

  1. Show one complete review cycle, from setup and employee input through manager review and completion.
  2. Update a goal, record feedback, and show how those items appear in the performance conversation.
  3. Run a calibration or talent-review scenario with the roles and access rules your organization uses.
  4. Demonstrate the required integration and data flow using your HR stack, including how exceptions are surfaced.
  5. Show permissions, reporting, and the views available to employees, managers, HR, and executives.
  6. Request a written quote that lists seats, modules, term, implementation, integrations, support, add-ons, minimum commitments, and total cost.

Choose the platform that can demonstrate your required workflow in the package and operating model you can support—not the one with the longer feature list or lower headline price.
