KPop Demon Hunters will enter the Toca Boca World gaming app in October 2026. Toca Boca’s October 15, 2026 announcement promises exclusive fashion and music inspired by HUNTR/X, the Saja Boys and other characters from Netflix’s film, but it does not yet give an exact release day, price or regional rollout.
What Toca Boca has announced
The crossover is scheduled for October 2026, according to Toca Boca’s announcement issued through PRNewswire on October 15, 2026. The company says the activation will bring “exclusive in-game fashion and music inspired by the hit film.”
The announcement describes a mix of the movie’s everyday clothing styles and its high-energy K-pop stage aesthetic. That points to avatar customization and music-related content rather than a separate standalone game, although Toca Boca has not published a detailed feature list.

Toca Boca says the app has nearly 60 million players. That is the company’s wording; it should not be treated as a more precise active-user or download total.

How the film connects to the app
Netflix Tudum describes KPop Demon Hunters as the story of K-pop stars Rumi, Mira and Zoey, who secretly protect their fans as demon hunters. HUNTR/X refers to the trio’s performance identity, while the Saja Boys are another central musical group in the film’s world.
That premise gives the Toca Boca crossover two visual directions: ordinary, character-led fashion for daily play and concert-inspired looks connected to the movie’s supernatural K-pop action. Toca Boca has not said whether players will receive playable missions, narrative scenes, animated performances or demon-hunting mechanics, so those features should not be assumed from the licensing announcement.
Will the songs be playable?
Music is explicitly part of the announcement, but “music” does not establish how it will work. The release does not specify whether players will get selectable tracks, environmental background music, character performances, short audio clips or another format. It also does not confirm which songs will appear or whether the music can be used in every area of Toca Boca World.

Until Toca Boca publishes a feature breakdown, players should treat the music promise as confirmed content with its delivery method still unknown.
Is the update free?
Toca Boca has not announced an in-app price, a free-access tier or a paid bundle. It has also not said whether fashion and music will arrive together or through separate offers. The October timing therefore confirms when the activation is expected, not what players will pay.
When the company provides store details, check the official Toca Boca World listing and the in-app purchase screen for the account’s country before assuming that another player’s price or availability applies to you.

Will the content remain in Toca Boca World?
The announcement does not say whether the KPop Demon Hunters items will be permanent, available for a limited event, or added in stages. It also does not describe a removal date. Players who want the collaboration should wait for the launch notice and read its availability terms rather than relying on the October announcement alone.

The crossover is part of a broader licensed-products push. Hasbro’s official newsroom confirms a KPop Demon Hunters toy line and MONOPOLY: KPop Demon Hunters. Hasbro describes the board game as a contest in which players “rehearse, hunt demons, win awards, and compete for fans.”
Those physical products are separate from the Toca Boca World activation. Buying a toy or board game does not establish that digital items are included, and the Toca Boca announcement does not identify merchandise codes or cross-product bonuses.
