The Kitchen Couture Dual View is a two-zone air fryer with a claimed combined capacity of 10 litres. CHOICE’s public results are mixed: the model has a 67% Expert Rating, and its public critique reports a 70% performance score. It did well with chips and marinated chicken wings, but scored 60% for crumbed chicken and 63% for ease of use. The 10L headline does not tell you how much fits in either drawer, so check the usable space against the foods you cook most often.
What model is this review about?
The manufacturer-hosted manual identifies the appliance as the Kitchen Couture Dual View 10L Stainless Steel Air Fryer, SKU 10004409. Check the SKU on the listing or packaging before relying on specifications or test results here; retailer listings contain conflicting details.
CHOICE names the “Kitchen Couture Dual View Stainless Steel Air Fryer Silver 10L” as a tested model. Its public product page lists a claimed 10L capacity, drawer-style design, non-stick pan and bowl material, 1700W power, 40–210°C, dimensions of 32 × 39 × 37 cm, a weight of 7.4kg and a one-year warranty. These are CHOICE’s listed specifications, not a consolidated manufacturer specification for every regional unit. CHOICE’s model page does not state a publication year in the accessed material.

CHOICE’s public exact-model page gives the fryer a 67% Expert Rating. In a separate public critique, CHOICE reports a 70% performance score and says the unit cooked chips and marinated chicken wings well. It scored 60% for crumbed chicken and 63% for ease of use; CHOICE also describes its roast pork result as disappointing. These are CHOICE’s reported model-specific findings, not results from hands-on testing for this review. Those food-specific differences matter: success with chips or wings does not establish equally good results with crumbed foods or a roast. If those latter foods are central to your cooking, the publicly available results give you reason to compare other models rather than treating the overall score as a guarantee.
Does the 10L capacity mean the drawers are spacious?
No. The 10L figure is a claimed combined capacity, not a statement that either drawer can hold a large single item. CHOICE warns that dual-drawer models can have smaller individual zones than a single large basket. Its critique says the manufacturer recommends only 125g of chips in each drawer. That manufacturer recommendation is a much more practical clue to portioning than the combined litre figure, although it does not establish the capacity for every food.

Think about the shape and quantity of what you cook: a broad single item may need more uninterrupted space than separate portions of chips or wings. CHOICE’s guidance on double air fryers also emphasizes considering serving needs and individual basket size, rather than relying on total capacity alone. How do the two cooking zones work?
The manual describes two drawers with viewing windows and independently selectable programs, times and temperatures. This can help when cooking two foods that need different settings. The controls include two functions for coordinating the zones:

The named functions are Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Dehydrate, Defrost and Reheat. The manual’s temperature settings are function-specific:

That distinction explains why some retailer materials advertising a 40–240°C range can be misleading if read as an adjustable range for every mode. The manual assigns different limits to each function and lists Defrost at a fixed 240°C. Consult the manual for SKU 10004409 for the control and operating details.

Why do published specifications disagree?
Published figures are not consistent enough to combine into one definitive specification set. CHOICE lists the tested model at 1700W and 7.4kg, with dimensions of 32 × 39 × 37cm and a 40–210°C range. Retailer material describes a 10.2kg product and differs on power and temperature. A Bunnings listing shows 1600W in one specification block but says 1700W elsewhere, and advertises 40–240°C. Kmart search-result text gives 1700W and 40–240°C. These retailer figures may refer to different listing data or versions; the public material does not resolve the discrepancies. Is the price good value?
CHOICE’s exact-model page displayed $499, while its comparison article displayed $200 for the model. Those are page-specific displayed prices, potentially from different times, not verified current offers. They cannot establish what the fryer should cost today. Compare a current listing for the matching SKU with the model’s mixed food results, drawer capacity and footprint before deciding whether the price suits you.
What to know about setup, cooking and cleaning
Before first use
- Remove packaging. Wash the drawer inner linings and lower racks in warm, soapy water, then dry them before refitting.
- Run the unit empty at maximum temperature for at least 10 minutes before normal use. The manual says a little smoke and odour during this first cycle is normal as manufacturing oil burns off.
During cooking
- Use the lower racks; the manual says, “For best results always use the Air Fryer with the lower racks installed.”
- Follow the manual’s food guidance: shake nuggets and mini spring rolls midway through cooking, and turn chicken wings midway.
- Use Meal when the two zones need to finish together, or Dual when you want the linked drawers to share the left drawer’s settings.
Safety and care
- Use the appliance indoors on a stable, level surface, leaving at least 10cm of open space around it.
- Do not cover the unit or block its air intakes or vents. Take care around hot surfaces and escaping steam.
- Remove accumulated grease after each use. Let the appliance cool fully before cleaning, and avoid metal scouring pads.
- The manual says there are no user-serviceable parts. For a problem, contact the manufacturer’s after-sales support through its contact form.
Who should consider this air fryer?
The Dual View makes most sense for someone who will use two cooking zones and values independent settings or coordinated finish times. It is a less straightforward choice if you need one large basket, rely on the results for crumbed chicken or roast pork, or have limited counter space. CHOICE describes double air fryers as relatively bulky and requiring more bench space; its listing for this model gives a 7.4kg weight, though retailer listings differ.
CHOICE’s score and food-specific notes are useful comparison points, but the detailed test tables are not publicly visible. Treat the score as a guide rather than a substitute for checking whether the drawers suit your portions and the model’s public test results match your priorities.
