Kinnect Chief Creative Officer Neville Shah has reportedly resigned and was serving his notice period, according to an October 13, 2026 report by IMPACT. The report said his next move was not known. Shah and Kinnect leadership were not available for comment when IMPACT reached out, so the departure has not been directly confirmed in that report.
What is known about Shah’s reported departure
IMPACT reported that Shah had resigned as Kinnect’s CCO and was serving notice at the agency as of its October 13 filing. It did not give a final working date. Neither a reason for his departure nor a public confirmation from Shah or Kinnect was reported. The status and timing should therefore be understood as IMPACT’s account, attributed to sources, rather than an announcement by Shah or the agency.
The report also did not identify Shah’s next employer or role. No successor was named in the reporting, so it is not yet possible to say who will take over as Kinnect CCO. There is also no basis to infer whether the move is tied to a new agency role, an independent venture or another career decision.

Shah’s role at Kinnect
FCB Global and Kinnect announced Shah’s appointment in 2024 as Chief Creative Officer of FCB Kinnect, working with FCB/SIX India. The appointment announcement said he would lead creative across three geographies. A June 4, 2026 leadership report still identified him as Kinnect CCO while reporting Ankit Banga’s elevation to COO and Gaurav Dudeja’s appointment as CBO. That makes Shah’s reported resignation a change from the leadership structure described only months earlier.

IMPACT said Shah spent ten years at Ogilvy, most recently as Executive Creative Director, before joining Kinnect. It also listed earlier work at Commonwealth, McCann Worldgroup, Creativeland Asia, JWT, Mudra, TBWA and MTV. The October report does not detail dates or positions for each of those earlier organizations, so they provide career context rather than a full chronology.
Campaign work and recent client context
IMPACT associated Shah’s Kinnect work with Flipkart’s “Sa Sa Le Le” and Too Yum to Cheer, which it said won a Silver at Cannes Lions. The report also listed work involving Pepsi’s Adrenaline Rush, Asian Paints, Mumbai Indians and Burger King. The Silver for Too Yum to Cheer is the specific award result identified in that report; it did not provide additional award counts or campaign results.
In May 2026, Kinnect won Burger King India’s creative mandate, covering brand strategy, creative communication, digital storytelling and culture-led campaigns. Shah, then speaking as Kinnect CCO, described the brand as an opportunity to make work part of the conversation and called it “a fun brand to work with,” according to IMPACT’s May 26 report. The quote reflects his view of the client opportunity at that time; it was not a statement about his later reported resignation.

Omnicom announced on September 9, 2026, that Andrew Robertson would become CEO of Omnicom Advertising after Troy Ruhanen decided to retire. The company placed the transition in the context of integration following Omnicom’s combination with Interpublic. Its announcement does not mention Shah or link the corporate change to his reported departure from Kinnect. The two developments are separate in the available statements.
