Kanti Prabha is Sirion’s Co-Founder and President, according to the company’s 2026 press kit. Her account of the company’s beginnings traces a path from chemistry and patent review to enterprise legal technology—and from a customer’s need to store thousands of contracts to a broader contract lifecycle management platform.
Who is Kanti Prabha?
Sirion’s 2026 press kit identifies Prabha as the company’s Co-Founder and President. In a June 2023 interview, she described her work before Sirion as spanning chemistry, patent-review work, and technology solutions for legal functions at UnitedLex. A separate 2023 profile reports that she earned an M.Sc. in chemistry from IIT Bombay and previously worked at Evalueserve. These career details come from interviews and a profile, rather than a full independently verified employment history.
Prabha has framed her role in terms of combining legal expertise and technology. In 2023, she described Sirion as a CLM company that combines large language models with legal AI to change how organizations create, negotiate, and manage contracts. That is her description of the company’s approach, not an independent technical assessment.

How did Prabha come to co-found Sirion?
Prabha says Ajay Agrawal invited her to join him in launching Sirion after their work intersected at UnitedLex, where she worked on techno-legal solutions for large enterprises. She recounts that HP became the new venture’s first customer after a large acquisition left it needing a central place to store thousands of contracts.

The initial project was a contract repository: a way to bring a large body of agreements together rather than leave them scattered across an organization. Prabha says the work exposed a bigger challenge. Storing contracts is only one stage of managing them; organizations also need to create, negotiate, execute, and manage agreements after signing. That broader need became the foundation for Sirion’s expansion into contract lifecycle management.
What does Sirion’s CLM platform do?
Contract lifecycle management, or CLM, software supports the process around business agreements from drafting through post-signature management. The interviews and Sirion product briefing describe the platform as covering contract creation, negotiation, signing, and ongoing management, with AI capabilities across the product.
The distinction between a repository and end-to-end CLM is practical. A repository helps teams locate and organize signed agreements. A broader lifecycle system is intended to support the work before signature as well—such as drafting and negotiation—and the work after signature, including tracking contractual obligations and performance. Prabha’s founding story presents the repository as the first answer to HP’s need, and the wider lifecycle as the more complete enterprise problem.
A February 2024 Supply Chain Digital interview uses supply-chain risk to explain why contract management matters: contractual commitments can affect how organizations manage suppliers and respond to uncertainty. That context helps explain the business case for managing agreements systematically, but it should not be read as an independently measured claim about the platform’s impact.

What has Prabha said about AI and Sirion’s development?
Prabha’s June 2023 description emphasizes combining large language models with legal-domain AI. The distinction matters: a general-purpose language model can generate and interpret text, while contract work also depends on legal context, agreement-specific information, and the ability to connect language to obligations and business processes. Her statement describes Sirion’s intended approach; the interview does not independently establish how accurately or effectively its AI performs.
A Legaltech Hub briefing published August 19, 2024 says its interview with Prabha covered Sirion’s brand overhaul, its acquisition of Eigen, and the use of AI across the platform. That briefing establishes the subjects of the interview, not a detailed independent evaluation of the acquisition or product capabilities.

What the interviews do—and do not—establish
Prabha’s interviews provide a first-person account of the origin story and the problem Sirion set out to address. The company’s current role listing for her comes from its 2026 press kit. Product descriptions and quantified results, by contrast, are presented through vendor or interview framing. Readers evaluating CLM software should treat those statements as claims to verify against their own requirements, implementation context, and evidence of outcomes.
