Kai Cenat is reportedly planning a nonstop Grand Theft Auto VI livestream that will continue until he reaches 100% completion. Reports place the start on the game’s current release date, November 19, 2026. The frequently repeated claim that fans are angry about a specific pre-launch games list is not yet verified: no complete list or attributable fan reaction has been established.
What Kai Cenat reportedly announced
Coverage from GTA BOOM describes Kai’s plan as a continuous GTA VI broadcast with a 100% completion goal. HobbyConsolas reports a planned start on November 19, 2026, the current launch date for Rockstar’s game. Neither report establishes how many days the stream will last, what equipment or production setup it will use, or whether “100%” means the game’s internal completion statistic alone or additional self-imposed challenges.
That distinction matters. A completion-focused marathon can end after the game’s own checklist is finished, while optional activities, collectibles, online content or challenge rules could extend the event considerably. Kai has not been documented here as publishing a final timetable or rule set.
When GTA VI is scheduled to launch
Rockstar Games’ customer-support information lists November 19, 2026 as the release date. The same information identifies PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the confirmed platforms. Rockstar’s Newswire archive records the move to that date and later 2026 marketing and pre-order announcements.

Rockstar also says the physical edition contains a download code rather than a game disc. Codes redeemed before launch are scheduled to begin pre-loading on November 12, seven days before release. Pre-loading makes the game’s files available in advance, but it does not permit play before the official launch time.

Rockstar has not confirmed a PC version in the information cited here, so viewers should not assume that a PC launch will coincide with the console release.

Why a marathon fits Kai’s streaming history
Kai has already demonstrated that he can sustain unusually long broadcasts. Streams Charts reported that his 2024 Elden Ring event lasted about 167 hours, generated 15.6 million hours watched, reached a peak of 290,000 viewers and averaged 93,100 viewers. Those figures describe that specific 2024 event; they are not a forecast for a future GTA VI stream.
The broader GTA audience is also using long-form broadcasts to build anticipation. Win.gg reported StableRonaldo’s scheduled August 21, 2026 GTA V stream as part of the hype cycle around GTA VI. That context helps explain why a creator might schedule a pre-release or launch-period event, but it does not confirm Kai’s production plans or guarantee that the broadcasts will involve the same games.

- This product contains a download code inside the box — no disc is included. Customer shipments will begin arriving November 12 for pre-load; game is playable starting November 19.
- Pre-order to receive the Vintage Vice City Pack.
- Grand Theft Auto VI is a single-player experience.
What is—and is not—known about the games list
The headline claim that “fans are not happy with the games list” goes beyond the evidence currently available. No verified copy of Kai’s original post or stream clip has established the exact list of games he announced before GTA VI, and no attributable comments demonstrate a broad or representative backlash.
Claims that remain unresolved
- The complete sequence of games Kai may play before GTA VI.
- Whether the list came from Kai himself, a schedule graphic, a joke, or a third-party repost.
- Which comments, if any, represent organized or widespread dissatisfaction rather than isolated reactions.
- Whether the list is final or subject to change before November 19.
Until Kai publishes the schedule through an identifiable first-party account or stream segment, lists circulating without that source should be treated as unconfirmed. It would be misleading to name games or describe anonymous reactions as a consensus.

How viewers can prepare to watch or play along
If you only plan to watch
- Follow Kai’s verified streaming accounts and turn on notifications close to the announced start window.
- Check the schedule on the day of the event, because marathon start times and game order can change.
- Expect an endurance broadcast rather than a fixed-duration show; the 100% goal makes the end time dependent on progress.
If you want to play at launch
- Use a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, the platforms Rockstar has confirmed.
- Choose a digital purchase or the physical edition’s download-code format according to your preferred retailer and storage setup.
- Redeem an eligible code before launch if you want the scheduled November 12 pre-load window.
- Keep the console connected and leave enough storage for the downloaded game and any launch update; Rockstar’s cited information does not state the final install size.
Release timing, regional availability, edition details and pricing can vary by market and may change before launch. Verify those particulars with the retailer and Rockstar when pre-orders open in your region.
Bottom line on the announcement
The solid part of the story is the reported plan: Kai Cenat intends to attempt a nonstop GTA VI marathon aimed at 100% completion, apparently beginning on November 19, 2026. Rockstar’s launch date, console platforms and pre-load information are separately confirmed. The supposed games-list backlash is not established yet, so any article or social post presenting a specific list or a fan consensus as fact is getting ahead of the available evidence.
