JVC Smart TVs do not all share one app store or app list. The apps you can use—and how you install them—depend on your TV’s exact model, operating system, and country. Find the model number first, identify its platform, then search the matching built-in app store.
What apps are available for JVC Smart TV?
It depends on the JVC TV’s platform and region. Some JVC models use Roku TV, while others use Google TV, Android TV, or VIDAA. Each platform has its own app interface, and a service available on one model or in one country may not be available on another.
For example, JVC’s US product page for the LT-43MAW635 describes a 4K Roku Smart TV with a Roku home screen. JVC advertises access to “500,000+ movies & TV episodes” on that page; this is a vendor marketing figure, not a guarantee that every title or service is currently available in your location. JVC Europe describes Google TV as bringing together movies, shows, live TV, apps, and subscriptions. Its overview also describes Android TV content discovery and Chromecast built-in. Those platform descriptions do not establish that every JVC model has the same apps. JVC Europe smart TV overview
A regional example is JVC’s Taiwan 55M product page, which identifies the TV as Google-certified Android TV with Google Play and names Netflix, YouTube, Play Movies, iQIYI, KKBOX, and Spotify as examples. How do I find my JVC TV’s platform?
- Check the model number. Look at the label on the back of the TV or in its settings. The full model number helps distinguish sets that may look similar but use different software.
- Look at the home screen and settings. The platform name or its app interface may identify the system. If it is not clear, check the TV’s manual or the official product page for that exact model and market.
- Use platform-specific instructions. Once you know whether the TV uses Roku TV, Google TV, Android TV, or VIDAA, search for the app through that platform’s built-in interface. Confirm the app listing and service availability for your country.
How do I download apps on my JVC Smart TV?
Open the TV’s built-in app store or app interface, search for the service, and follow the on-screen installation steps. The exact menu names and available apps vary by platform, model, country, and software version, so there is no single download path that applies to every JVC Smart TV.

Why can’t I find an app on my JVC TV?
A missing app does not necessarily mean the TV is faulty. The app may not support that platform or model, may not be offered in your country, or may require software support the TV does not have. Start by confirming your model and operating system, then check the service’s official listing for your region.
If the TV uses VIDAA, its support menu can help identify the system version and check firmware. VIDAA’s published instructions show the operating-system version at Home > Settings > Support > About and provide a separate path for checking firmware upgrades. VIDAA support

Are JVC TV phone apps the same as TV apps?
No. A phone companion app can control the television or help with casting, but it is not the TV’s app catalog. JVC says the Roku mobile app can provide voice search, cast personal media or video, and control the TV. JVC LT-43MAW635 product page

What if the app is not in the built-in store?
An HDMI streaming device may be an alternative if the service supports that device and it is available in your country. First check that your TV has a compatible, available HDMI input and confirm support for the app and service on the streaming device. JVC lists three HDMI inputs for the LT-43MAW635, but that specification applies to that model; it does not guarantee compatibility for every JVC TV or external player. JVC LT-43MAW635 product page
