Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel joined Los Angeles beverage company PRODA as co-founders on October 13, 2026, alongside existing co-founders and co-CEOs Matthew Postlethwaite and Jeff Church. Barry’s executive chairman Joey Gonzalez was also named a co-founder. The announcement describes Timberlake and Biel as active partners in creative strategy, flavor innovation, product development and cultural partnerships—not simply celebrity endorsers—as PRODA seeks national expansion.
Why Timberlake and Biel joined PRODA
PRODA said the partnership is intended to combine the couple’s creative and cultural influence with the company’s product and expansion plans. Their stated responsibilities include shaping the brand’s creative strategy, developing new flavors, contributing to product decisions and helping build cultural partnerships.
The Los Angeles Times described the arrangement as Timberlake and Biel’s first joint business venture. Neither PRODA nor the published coverage disclosed how much either person invested, what ownership percentage they received or whether they were compensated under a separate endorsement agreement. They are publicly identified as co-founders, but the available announcement does not establish the financial structure of the deal.
What PRODA protein soda is
PRODA positions its drink as a carbonated, lighter alternative to conventional protein shakes. The company says its formula uses a proprietary clear whey isolate matrix. Each 12-ounce can is advertised as containing 10 grams of complete whey protein, zero sugar and all-natural ingredients.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. - Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Because the protein comes from whey, people with milk allergies, dairy sensitivities or dietary restrictions that exclude animal-derived ingredients should check the can’s complete ingredient and allergen statement before drinking it. The available product description does not provide independent laboratory verification of the nutrition claims.
PRODA flavors and format
The official product listing names seven flavors:
- Classic Orange
- Cherry Lime
- Strawberry Lemonade
- Lemon Lime
- Golden Apple
- Root Beer
- Shirley Temple
The soda format may appeal to people who want protein in a cold, fizzy drink rather than a thick shake. Carbonation and a clear-whey formulation create a different texture and drinking experience from creamy protein beverages. No controlled, independent taste test is available to establish how the flavors compare with other protein drinks.
How much PRODA costs and where to buy it
PRODA’s website lists a 12-pack at $39.95 when checked. That works out to about $3.33 per 12-ounce can before any applicable tax. The site says shipping is free for orders of two or more cases. It also lists nationwide availability through Sprouts Farmers Market, Amazon and drinkproda.com.

How PRODA compares with other protein drinks
Food-industry coverage has identified sparkling-protein products from Premier Protein and C4 Energy as competitors. PRODA’s distinguishing published specifications are its carbonation, 10 grams of whey protein per can, zero sugar and seven-flavor lineup. A meaningful comparison should also consider protein per serving, sweeteners and other ingredients, dairy allergens, texture, retail access and price per can.
PRODA’s published information does not establish that it is nutritionally superior to competing shakes or sparkling drinks. It also does not show whether 10 grams of protein is intended to replace a full post-workout serving. Consumers should compare the nutrition panels of products they are considering and match the serving size to their own dietary needs.

What is known—and not known—about the business
PRODA’s announcement calls the company “the #1 fastest-turning protein soda brand” in America and describes explosive Amazon growth. Those are statements from the company. The Los Angeles Times reported that the announcement did not provide sales figures or independent data supporting the ranking.
No independent published figures establish PRODA’s revenue, unit sales, market share, valuation or the amount Timberlake and Biel invested. The co-founder announcement therefore confirms their formal role, but it does not show the size of their financial stake or the company’s overall value.
What their co-founder role means for shoppers
For customers, the practical implication is that Timberlake and Biel are expected to participate in decisions about how PRODA looks, tastes and expands. Their remit could influence future flavors, packaging, partnerships and distribution. It does not, by itself, prove that the product delivers better nutrition, stronger sales or a better taste than alternatives.
