In Jujutsu Infinite, an innate technique is the foundation of your moveset. Mastery unlocks its regular attacks and abilities, while a Maximum Technique and a Domain Expansion are separate, optional progression systems with their own items and requirements. They are not automatic upgrades, and not every innate technique has either one.
The explanations below reflect the Roblox experience listing and community-maintained guides current to September 2026. Because the game is updated and the community roster changes, treat the named technique lists as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent catalog.
What the technique system represents
Jujutsu Infinite is a Roblox experience by Awesome Ninja Games built around cursed spirits, sorcerers, cursed objects, and cursed techniques. The Roblox listing describes the experience as playable on mobile, PC, and console. In combat, your innate technique works alongside Combat Skills and Cursed Tools; it is not the same thing as either of those systems.
The terms describe different layers of progression:

| Layer | What it does | Typical gate | Applies to every innate? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Innate Technique | Provides the core technique move set. | Technique mastery plus in-game cash for individual moves. | Innates are the base system, but their move lists differ. |
| Maximum Technique | A high-level mode or enhanced state that changes or empowers technique moves. | Maximum Scrolls, plus any technique-specific condition. | Not established for the entire roster. |
| Domain Expansion | A domain battlefield that applies a technique-specific effect and usually improves the caster’s combat position. | Story progression for an incomplete version; a Domain Shard for one full domain. | No. Only some innates have a documented domain. |
Consequently, “unlocking an innate” does not mean you have also unlocked its maximum or domain. Check each technique’s current guide and skill tree before spending a rare item.
Innate techniques: your main move set
How innate moves unlock
The community innate-technique reference describes innate abilities as one of the game’s main damage systems. You first obtain an innate, then raise mastery in that technique. Individual moves become available when their mastery requirement is met and their in-game cash cost is paid. Mastery is therefore more than a level number: it is the progression track that opens the buttons you actually use in combat.
Each innate has its own mastery cap and move arrangement. Older community pages contain dated counts and rarity figures, so do not treat those numbers as the current roster or as a reliable estimate of how often a technique will roll. A patch can add an innate, alter a cap, or move a requirement without changing the general mastery-and-cash model.

Slots, rerolls, and keeping mastery
The same reference says players start with up to two innate slots by default. Additional slots are tied to gamepasses, so the number visible on your account can differ from another player’s account. An Innate Bag can store rolled innates while retaining their mastery, allowing you to change the active technique without discarding all progress. Confirm the current slot and storage rules in the in-game interface because these are live-service systems.
When deciding whether to reroll, separate three questions: do you like the technique’s normal moves, have you already invested mastery in it, and does it have the endgame systems you want? A technique can feel strong during early mastery while offering no documented domain, whereas another may have a powerful domain but slower or more demanding regular moves.
Maximum Techniques and Maximum Scrolls
What a Maximum Technique is
A Maximum Technique is a distinct enhancement layer, not simply the final mastery move. The community reference associates maximums with Maximum Scrolls, and the available material does not establish that every innate has one. Do not buy or consume a scroll on the assumption that any innate can use it; verify that your chosen technique has a documented maximum and read its activation condition.

Maximums can alter existing moves, add a mode, improve resource generation, or create a stronger combination. Their value is often situational: a cooldown reduction may improve sustained fighting, while a transformed attack may matter more for a short burst or a boss phase.

Infinity shows why “maximum” and “domain” should not be treated as synonyms. A September 2026 Infinity guide identifies Six Eyes as Infinity’s Maximum Technique mode and Unlimited Void as its Domain Expansion.
According to that guide, activating Six Eyes requires three Black Flash tokens. While the mode is active, the guide reports 25% increased focus gain and 25% cooldown reduction, with those figures presented specifically as the Six Eyes mode’s buff. Lapse Blue and Reversal Red also change during the mode. The guide describes a chant that combines the two orbs in the air into a move called “Hollow Nuke.” These are guide descriptions rather than independently tested developer specifications, so check the live skill text if a balance patch changes the numbers.
Domain Expansions: incomplete, full, and not universal
Do all innate techniques have a Domain Expansion?
No. A September 2026 community guide names 14 innates as having a documented Domain Expansion:
- Infinity
- Demon Vessel
- Gambler Fever
- Soul Manipulation
- Ancient Construction
- Star Rage
- Curse Queen
- Thunder God
- Soul King
- Volcano
- Hydrokinesis
- Judgeman
- Plant Manipulation
- Projection
This is a dated community list, not a developer-confirmed promise that the roster is complete or permanent. An innate absent from the list may receive a domain later, and a guide may lag behind a patch.

Story progression provides an incomplete Domain Expansion. The September 2026 guide describes this version as supplying basic damage and defense buffs without the technique’s special gimmick. It is useful as an intermediate milestone, but it should not be confused with the full, named domain shown in a technique’s skill tree.

How to get Domain Shards and a full domain
A Domain Shard unlocks one full Domain Expansion. The guide’s sequence is:
- Progress through the story far enough to access the incomplete domain system.
- Obtain a Domain Shard. The shard is the separate unlock item for a full domain; having a domain-capable innate alone does not replace it.
- Use the shard to unlock one full Domain Expansion.
- Purchase that unlocked domain in the Skill Shop.
- Assign the domain to a keybind before entering a fight.
The shard unlocks one full domain, so choose a technique you intend to keep using. If the shop does not show the expected purchase, check that the shard was consumed, that the active innate matches the domain, and that the skill-tree prerequisite is complete.
Meter requirements and domain clashes
Most domains require a meter at 100% before activation. The September 2026 guide says the meter fills by dealing or taking damage, making domain timing a combat decision rather than a button available at the start of every encounter.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsWhen two players deploy domains, the guide describes a timed M1-press precision contest. Your result depends on pressing the basic attack input accurately during the clash window; it is not an automatic win for the player with the rarer innate. Because the exact timing and interface can change, follow the on-screen prompt rather than relying on a fixed rhythm learned from an older patch.
Infinity in practice: separating its regular moves, maximum, and domain
Regular Infinity moves
The September 2026 Infinity guide lists Lapse Blue, Reversal Red, Spatial Pummel, Mugen, Red Transmission, and Hollow Purple among Infinity’s regular technique moves, alongside Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void. These names describe the ordinary technique tree; they do not mean that the maximum or domain is already active.
For a new Infinity user, mastery investment should first make the normal rotation reliable. Learn which moves provide control, which create space, and which consume or build the resources needed for later activations. Only after that foundation should you plan around Black Flash tokens for Six Eyes or a full meter for Unlimited Void.

Unlimited Void is the domain
Unlimited Void is Infinity’s Domain Expansion, not its Maximum Technique. The guide describes it as immobilizing opponents caught inside for a duration while increasing the user’s overall damage and defenses. Those effects explain why a domain is a separate tactical phase: it changes the fight’s space and tempo instead of merely adding another attack to the technique bar.
Six Eyes is the maximum
Six Eyes is the separate Maximum Technique mode. Its three-token activation requirement, focus and cooldown buffs, altered Blue and Red moves, and Hollow Nuke chant belong to that mode. You can therefore have a fight in which Infinity’s regular moves are available but Six Eyes is not ready, or Six Eyes is active while Unlimited Void’s meter is still below 100%.
Domain counterplay in PvP
Simple Domain
The technique-tree guide describes Simple Domain as a counter that temporarily removes domain status effects while you remain inside its circle. It is a positional defense: leaving the circle or allowing it to expire ends the protection, so place it where the opponent’s domain pressure is most likely to matter.
Hollow Wicker Basket
Hollow Wicker Basket is described as granting immunity to domain effects while active. Its cost is significant: you cannot use innate techniques during that period. The choice is therefore between preserving access to your own technique and obtaining broader domain immunity. Activate it when survival outweighs the damage or mobility you would lose by locking your innate moves.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to compare innates or choose a build
A tier list based only on damage misses the progression gates that determine how a technique plays over time. Compare candidates using the same questions:
| Comparison question | Why it matters | What to verify in the current game |
|---|---|---|
| Does the innate have a documented Domain Expansion? | A domain adds a distinct late-game objective and changes PvP counterplay. | Check the latest dated technique guide and the in-game skill tree. |
| Does it have a Maximum Technique? | A maximum may require a scroll, tokens, or another resource and may change normal moves. | Confirm the existence, item, activation condition, and effect. |
| What is the normal combat role? | Control, burst damage, mobility, defense, and sustained pressure reward different play styles. | Read each move’s current description and test its range and timing in a safe area. |
| How does the domain meter fill? | Some builds reach a 100% meter quickly by trading damage; others need a longer fight. | Observe whether dealing, taking, or both kinds of damage advance the meter. |
| What counters can the opponent use? | Simple Domain and Hollow Wicker Basket can reduce the payoff of an otherwise decisive domain. | Plan a non-domain combo and a response to each defensive option. |
This framework is more durable than a fixed “best innate” ranking because the roster, costs, and balance values can change. It also exposes mismatches: a player who dislikes resource management may prefer a straightforward regular kit even if another technique has a stronger maximum.
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
Practical unlock checklist
- Roll or equip the innate you want to develop, then confirm it is in the active slot rather than only in storage.
- Raise mastery by using that technique and purchase each newly available move with in-game cash.
- Review the skill tree for a Maximum Technique. If one is listed, identify the Maximum Scroll requirement and any token or resource condition.
- Check whether the innate appears on the current domain-capable list. Do not assume an unlisted technique has a hidden domain.
- Advance the story to obtain the incomplete domain milestone.
- Save a Domain Shard for the innate you plan to keep, unlock the full domain, buy it in the Skill Shop, and assign its keybind.
- Build the meter during combat, then practice the activation timing and the response to a player domain clash.
- Add Simple Domain or Hollow Wicker Basket to your defensive plan when the content or PvP ruleset allows them.
Common mistakes and fixes
“I mastered the technique, so the domain should be unlocked.”
Mastery purchases regular moves. A full domain still follows the separate story, shard, shop, and keybind process.
“Every innate has a maximum.”
The available references do not verify a maximum for every innate. Look for a current technique-specific entry before spending a Maximum Scroll.
“The incomplete domain is the final version.”
The incomplete form supplies basic buffs but lacks the special gimmick described for a full domain. Use the skill tree and the Skill Shop entry to distinguish the two.
“A domain always wins the fight.”
Opponents can contest domains with the timed M1 clash and can mitigate domain effects with Simple Domain or Hollow Wicker Basket. Keep a conventional combo ready instead of relying on one activation.
“The September 2026 list cannot change.”
The named 14-technique list comes from a community guide, not official developer documentation. Recheck the in-game menu and the guide’s update date after patches, especially before rerolling or using a rare scroll or shard.
What to remember
Think of the system as a ladder with separate branches: mastery and cash open an innate’s ordinary moves; a Maximum Scroll may unlock a technique-specific maximum; story progression starts an incomplete domain; and a Domain Shard, Skill Shop purchase, and keybind complete one full domain. Infinity makes the distinction clear because Six Eyes is its maximum while Unlimited Void is its domain. The strongest choice is the innate whose regular kit, resource demands, available endgame unlocks, and counterplay all fit the way you actually fight.
