Jio’s 10th anniversary offer is reported to bundle a JioBharat 4G phone with up to six recharge cycles for ₹1,499. But Jio’s official terms do not name the eligible phone models, so confirm the exact handset and offer eligibility with Jio or the seller before paying. “Six months” means up to six consecutive 28-day cycles—not six calendar months—and the ₹299 figure is an estimated effective cost, not the amount you pay upfront.
Which JioBharat phones qualify for the offer?
Gadgets 360 reported the offer price as ₹1,499 for an eligible JioBharat 4G phone with six months of recharge benefits. However, the official Jio offer terms reviewed for this article do not list qualifying models. Do not assume that every JioBharat handset—or every listing described as a JioBharat 4G phone—qualifies.
Ask Jio or the seller to confirm the exact model and that the device is eligible before purchase. The terms allow Jio to approve devices sold by third-party vendors, distributors or authorized sellers, but they do not establish that a particular retailer or online marketplace listing qualifies.
What “six months of unlimited calls” actually means
The offer provides up to six successive recharge cycles, each lasting 28 days. That is up to 168 days of benefits, rather than six full calendar months. Each cycle includes:

The benefits are conditional. The eligible device must be purchased and first activated on Jio’s network during the offer period. To receive each subsequent cycle, keep the same eligible Jio number paired with the device’s IMEI for the cycle; Jio credits the recharge after that pairing is maintained. The Jio SIM must stay in the phone’s primary SIM slot. Benefits cannot be accumulated, transferred or exchanged for cash.
Why Jio calls the effective price ₹299
The reported ₹299 effective-cost calculation starts with the ₹1,499 package price and subtracts nearly ₹1,200 in estimated recharge spending over six months. Gadgets 360 attributes the estimate to Jio’s comparison with a typical 2G user spending around ₹199 per month. It is a comparison based on estimated connectivity spending—not a ₹1,200 cash discount, refund or handset price. The amount paid for the reported bundle is ₹1,499.

Jio’s official terms also disclose a ₹950 one-time charge component against anniversary benefits, allocated upfront for delivery and enablement of benefits and partner merchants. The terms say this charge is fully earned upon recharge execution. Consider that provision alongside the bundle price and the conditions for receiving the recharges when assessing the offer’s value.

Jio’s terms set the offer window from 00:01 on 15 September 2026 to 23:59 on 20 October 2026. Jio reserves the right to extend or end the offer. Eligible subscribers must be Indian citizens and existing or new Jio mobility subscribers, including port-ins, and must meet the device, purchase, activation and pairing conditions. Check Jio’s live terms before buying because the company may change or withdraw the offer.

Each voucher is subject to its issuer’s eligibility requirements; check the applicable terms before counting its value toward your decision.
Moneycontrol’s 30 September 2026 report describes a 2.4-inch display, 2,000mAh battery, 4G connectivity, JioPay UPI payments and Jio entertainment services. Those details provide product context, but do not establish which model qualifies for the anniversary offer.

- Confirm the specific handset model is eligible and the seller’s listing qualifies.
- Check that you can buy and first activate it on Jio within the offer window.
- Make sure you can keep the same Jio number and device paired, with the SIM in the primary slot, through each cycle you want to receive.
- Check Jio coverage where you expect to use the phone. Jio says, “Network availability, service quality and application experience remain subject to coverage and technical limitations.”
