News reports published on 11 October 2026 said Jio-bp raised petrol by ₹5 per litre and diesel by ₹3 per litre, effective from 6 a.m. that day. The reports cited people familiar with the change; they did not establish that Jio-bp had publicly confirmed it. The prices reported for Haryana and Punjab are dated regional examples, not a complete city-wise list or rates for every station.
What was the reported Jio-bp price increase?
Financial Express and LiveMint reported on 11 October 2026 that Jio-bp petrol increased by ₹5 per litre and diesel by ₹3 per litre, with the new rates effective from 6 a.m. that day. Financial Express cited a person familiar with the development and fuel retailers; LiveMint cited four people familiar with it, including pump dealers. Both reports said the company had not immediately responded to their queries. The change should therefore be treated as reported, not as a publicly confirmed company announcement.
Reported Jio-bp prices by state
The coverage gives examples for Haryana and Punjab, but not a full schedule for every city or station. These are Jio-bp prices reported on 11 October 2026 after the stated revision.

These figures are not interchangeable with rates from other fuel retailers. Local taxes and outlet location can affect pump prices, so a state-level example cannot establish the price at a particular city station.

How to check a Jio-bp price at a specific station
- Open the Jio-bp mobility-station locator and search for the area or station you plan to visit.
- Check the selected station’s displayed petrol or diesel price and its update time.
- If the displayed update is old or no price is shown, contact the station or verify at the pump before relying on the rate.
The locator’s indexed sample prices carry a 2022 update date, so those sample values should not be treated as current prices. Jio-bp’s FAQ provides company guidance for finding station information.
Why other published fuel-price tables may not match Jio-bp
The Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell (PPAC) publishes retail-price information for Indian Oil, BPCL and HPCL. Its retail price page and metro-wise price series do not establish Jio-bp station rates. PPAC’s cited pages were updated in September 2026; use them for the PSU retailers they cover, not to fill missing Jio-bp city prices.

What the available city-wise information does—and does not—show
The 11 October reports support a reported increase and a few location-specific examples, not a comprehensive city-by-city list. In particular, they do not supply a complete schedule for Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan or other states. For a reliable comparison, match the fuel type, retailer, exact location and date or time checked; a price from a different retailer or an older update is not a like-for-like figure.
