Spoiler warning: The headline’s phrase is not verified as an official Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mission title or in-game line. The available evidence also does not establish which mission it refers to, what happens in it, or what the player does. That means it would be misleading to recommend a specific mission on that basis.
There is, however, a useful reason to revisit San Andreas before Grand Theft Auto VI: Rockstar has described an effort to make the new game’s missions more open where possible while retaining story guidance. That is a design direction worth watching—not evidence that GTA 6 will recreate any particular older mission.

Is this an official San Andreas mission?
Not on the evidence available here. The phrase “It’s Every Motherf***er for Himself!” should be treated as editorial wording, not an authenticated mission name or quotation. A broad San Andreas mission guide is useful for navigating the game, but it does not verify the phrase’s attribution or identify a specific mission that matches it.

What Rockstar has said about GTA 6 missions
In a GamesRadar+ report, Rockstar North co-studio lead Rob Nelson said the team had made “a very conscious effort to open things up where possible, without compromising the quality of the experience.” He also described story beats as a continuing guide for players.
That points to a balance between giving players room in how missions unfold and keeping the narrative on track. It does not establish that GTA 6 will reproduce a specific San Andreas mission, offer a particular set of choices, or use the same mechanics. Treat it as reported development context, not a promise about a particular mission.
Rank #2
- Drive through the largest GTA environment ever -- The game has three cities you can explore, for a gaming area 5 times larger than Vice City
- Recruit new characters into a street gang and take over by leading drive-by shootings against rivals
- Steal all-new vehicles, including bicycles
- Improved fighting elements -- smoother hand-to-hand combat, plus the ability to hold a weapon in each hand
- New graphics elements -- cars get dirty and even rust, the longer you drive them
How to revisit San Andreas before GTA 6
If you want to play San Andreas again, Rockstar’s store lists Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, which includes the game. Rockstar describes the edition as featuring lighting and environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, and GTA V-style controls and targeting. Check the Rockstar Store listing for the product details shown there.
The listing does not verify availability or pricing for every platform or region. If your goal is to compare mission design with GTA 6, focus on what the games actually let you do and how their stories guide you; don’t assume a specific older mission is a preview of the new game.
