WARDOGS is worth playing if you want large, objective-focused team battles and can accept Early Access uncertainty. It is not a safe choice for anyone buying primarily for permanent levels and unlocks: Season 2 was announced for October 15, 2026, and PC Gamer reports that the first progression wipe returns players to level 1. What WARDOGS is
WARDOGS on Steam is an online, large-scale “All-Out Warfare FPS” in Early Access. Its current design combines tactical gunplay with vehicles, logistics, support roles, building and destruction, proximity voice chat, and three-sided team competition. The store describes matches with up to 100 players rather than small squad-only rounds.
Three teams, one changing objective
Each match places three teams against one another. The active Control Zone is randomized and measures 2×2 kilometers within a larger map. The system is designed to recognize useful work around the battle, not only eliminations. A player who spends a life moving teammates or helping hold the zone can still be advancing the team’s economy.

Cash carries from match to match
The official listing says accumulated cash persists between matches. That creates a longer decision loop: you are managing resources during a round while also building the money available for future rounds.
